Jordan, I can honestly say I have NEVER seen a hardtop Elan before. Looks very cool. When the hell we gonna get you out on a run with us?!!
Greg - I'm making arrangements to have the Elan shipped up from Maryland. My son and I are hoping to run with the bulls on 6/18. The restoration was done by an enthusiast in Ellicott City, MD. I got the car for a steal on ebay........although, I'm quite aware that LOTUS stands for, "Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious." Here are some pics of the restorer's stable: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting artistic license that guy has taken with a couple of the cars. Wish I could make the ROTB, but I'll be away that weekend. :-(
Jordan, Very nice addition to the stable. Was thinking of you this past weekend when I saw the red Khamsin at the Greenwich Concours (IMO it looks better in black). Looks like the guy did a wonderful restoration - would love to see it in person. Hope to see you soon, David
Thanks David. Here are 2 pics in black from Greg's run. Isn't that you by the Lambo? I still plan to take you up on your offer to trade rides. Jordan Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You're right Greg. It's a '74 2000 Spider Veloce with a one off nose and tail treatment. It was done about a year ago by an alfa shop in Florida. See that 250 GTO resemblence? The car was modded with a dual carb set up, bigger cams, new valves and guides, exhaust, brakes, tires, wheels, etc. It is a smooth, quiet, fast highway cruiser. Here's a pic of its rear (Any GTO pics for comparison?): Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice car.......... What is his ebay account name? I'd like to see if he is selling any of the other vehicles he has. I'm in MD not too far from him.
Sorry - I uploaded pic of the correct engine but the wrong car -that's because I got my jpg and bmp files crossed somehow. I already have a Jag, so I wasn't looking for another. Here's the a pic of the interior (I'm still having problems getting the exterior car pics into a jpg version): Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow - thats so nice Jordan! I didnt say anything sooner b/c I was confused as to why anything on the Jag wld be label TVR. So when you going to join in on a run and share this ecclectic collection with us?
