Will pray to Padre Pio of Pietrelcina to watch over the little one. Padre Pio was a childhood friend of my dad and they maintained a lifelong close friendship. I can personally attest to his power to intereced miraculously. God bless.
Thanks to ALL OF YOU!!!! I am taken back (in tears) by all of your responses! No change today. I am taking "no change" as a good sign. I will not be online much. I am only home for a few minutes to eat and get some clothes for my daughter, so I may not be able to check in. THANKS again. God bless all of you!
http://www.prematurity.org/ During those precious moments, you may find this to be helpful from those who've been there, including some features from preemies themselves. Best wishes to you and yours.
Barney, I was moved to tears when I read your post and saw the beautiful photo of your son. He is a miracle. My wife and I are going to pray for your son, you and your wife. May God bless you all. In the words of David, goodness and love will follow your son all the days of his life. Best, Mike
Best to you and your family, Barney. Have faith, the care available for low birth weight premies is improving every day and there are many success stories. My 11 year old twin girls were 2 lbs 13 oz and 1 lb 9.5 oz at 30 weeks and had medical files 6 inches thick in the first few months but they are doing great these days. We're praying for you all. John
Wow. What a day. I am in tears. Your prayers are working. 27 weeks is so small. Thanks again to all! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family from the great white (wet, these days) north! I'm very encouraged by your last photos showing your son practicing his perfect "shifting" grip on your finger. Get the car seat ready for the 308, he's trying to tell you something! Please keep us posted on his progress and imminent homecoming!
Good color, less tubes, hand-holding = much progress. Keep holding his hand.....that means as much as anything, if not more, than any other treatment. Much love, K
He's adorable! Please do keep us updated and congradulations on the improvement. He's a little fighter.
