2005 R1 "Raven"

Funny I should click on this thread, I saw one of these parked in front of a sports store yesterday. I thought to myself, "Damn, that's a nice bike", and then this 5'5" guy walks out of the store and hops on it. I like the styling of the exhaust, and the subtle red outline around the wheels. I give it a thumbs up

Point is, are YOU a very good rider? That's the limiting part of the equation here, like I said. Anyway, buy / ride what you like, it's yours to keep, but at the track don't be bummed when a guy on a 600 outbrakes you, glides by you in the corner and shoots off at the exit because you're either 1, sliding or 2, wheeling.
If it's a bike you only want for the street, then go ahead then, but if you'd like something track/user friendly I'd look at the 05 ZX6RR.
