Boardwalk Ferrari has had 2 door keys on order for me for nearly 2 months and cannot seem to get them from the factory. Does anyone know where I might find these?

Don, I just took mine to a local locksmith, and they matched it right there. It is NOT a Ferrari key, but it does work. I think it cost about $2. The locksmith I went to is on Coit, between Arapaho and Beltline.

Jeff, are your door keys the small ones with the plastic surround? Do you also have the same service for the folding ignition key?

    Hi

These are an all-metal (plasticless) blank. Sorry, no folding keys except Mondial / Testarossa / 348 / 512.

Make sure you tell them it's for a FIAT. :D

Thanks. I will try the local locksmith Jim recommended tomorrow. If that does not work I will send you what you need.

Be sure to drive the car over there to be sure they work after they've been cut. I made that mistake the first time. They worked in the door, but not in the louver or the center console. I had to drive the car back and get them recut.

I actually think the keys WERE for a Fiat!

LOL, that's something I learned from following Tom Yang's website... if it's something you can buy aftermarket, and you know the exact specs, never say it's for a Ferrari or the dollar signs appear appear in their eyeballs. Better to say it's for a FIAT :)

    Sure they are!

The place where I buy mine for $2 is in an old part of town, they mentioned they keep the Italian blanks with the ones that fit the Rolls Royce.......

I looked around at their other customers and said..."Riiiiiiiiiiight!" LOL!

I agree with your point there. However, since I will be driving the car there to make sure the keys work, it may be hard to pass the car as a Fiat!

We go through this same thing all the time in the Pantera crowd. Same story there--just go to any keymaker, most likely they'll have it without saying what it is, and if you do, just say FIAT.

I went to a locksmith today at Beltline and Montfort (5929 Belt Line) in the same parking lot as Soho. I don't think this is the one you went to Jim, but I could not find that one! They were able to match the key up to a blank that worked. First try and we got it. I had two cut for about $8.00. Considering Boardwalk cannot seem to get me the blanks nearly two months later, this was a great find.

If anyone needs keys they can do it. They also can make ignition keys he said. We matched them up too.

He may be in Australia, but if you give him the key code, he'll cut it, email it, etc, and does great work, I've used him a couple of times with great success.
