My dear friends & gents, 2004 was a wonderful and to me very succesfull year. I have met so many fantastic peoples from all around the world with the same passion FERRARI. I would love to give something back from my fun to people who can`t enjoy, get or have had so much luck in their live. I`m talking about handicapped children. I want to organize for next year a meeting & drive out to a childrens house for handicapped kids. I want to invite them for a free drive in my Ferrari and hopefully many other Ferraris who will take part on this event. This all instead of my housewarming party with the Ferrari & Lamborghini drivers I talked about & wanted to ivinte you for April 05. I will cancel this idea and take all my afford & time to organize the childrens-drive. Everybody with or without a Ferrari can help & support the idea. For example: Make a photo-print from your Ferrari together with you and a hand signed letter for the kids. Or make a little donation for some drinks, candy, cake .a.s.o. for the afternoon. Wolfgang, This is a fantastic plan! But as I told you on the phone the overall picture is a little bit more complicated. Some preparations and paperwork should be done. Insurance must be arranged. For that reason I would advise you to contact an organisation like the Make-A-Wish foundation and ask them for help. They have entrance to the right people and know exactly what the pitfalls are. I don't think that it will be a problem to get a large group of Ferrari and Lamborghini's together. We will definitely participate!!!!! Ton

I wanna first see how many support I can get here B4 I make them nervous Yes, there are indeed so many issues we have to take care of and the foundation will help me/us to make it happen!
That was the most nice and warm idea i have seen for long A great gesture indeed!!! There is so many kids out there who needs to smile and have a moment of pure fun I'm still thinking about what i can do in this... i would deffinately love to do something if possible.!!

Great thought Wolfgang. Reminds me of the "Toy Run" that the Hell's Angels hold every year. I will, of course, support the event in some way or another. MARK
Wow, yes Mark. Didn`t know that there is somebody else who knows about this old tradition. "The toys for tots run" organized by the Hells Angels. I have been there in Kent, U.K. in 1988 and it was just amazing what the HA chaper has done for the kids. Thanks in advance for supporting my idea.
I will sure sign some copies... no problem... but originals may not be that easy as they are drawn with charcoal... very dusty .... for kids But copies with a personal letter... sounds great

Yes exactly! that would be a great idea! You guys could design a special drawing with a handwritten message for all the kids. That'll be a great souvenir and reminder for them all!
Any ideas yet for at name for the event?? And kids today.... what Ferrari is THE ONE for them?? (i have a girl, and she is not that much into ferrari's, so i can't ask her )
Wolfgang, you are solid gold! *makes the worshipping gesture* I wish I had a Ferrari or Lamborghini to participate with. This is one of the things I could see myself do if I owned one of these cars. Handicapped kids are the most sincere and joyful persons one could imagine. It's absoluletely wonderful of you to organise such an event for them!

What a great idea Wolfgang! Respect! And yes, like Ton already mentioned, it may be a good idea to involve a specialized organisation in it, to make things work out perfect! Indeed, like Roland said, if I already had a Ferrari, this would certainly be a event Kelly and I would participate on! I already saw a similar things organized by Make-A-Wish in the Benelux and the smiles on the kids faces are just great! Of course I'm going to try to think about something I could support this event with... but I don't know exactly yet what that could be...
