    Hmm...

Very nice - but for $1m, I'd want something without 'long wheelbase' in the name..

Interesting quote from Antoine Prunet at the bottom of the text.
Has he not heard of 'supply & demand' do you think..?

Agree, who cares who drove it and the history is so well documented ... it is the undesirable model of that sort of car!

    Pete,

Not sure if everyone would agree that a car like this can be called "undesireable" in any context....?

    Truly Beautiful...! IMO...

    Indeed a bit curious.

What is the history doing the the asking price though? Is this car -let's say- a 100K more expensive than any other comparable California, without the remarkable (owner-) history?

though undesireable isn't the right word, in addition to its being LWB it also has a color combo that doesn't exactly scream "buy me" to most

SWB, covered headlights, red/tan --> I'll take it!

Tell you what. I wouldn't kick this car out of my garage for dripping a little oil on my floor.

Okay fair point ... Personally I find this model California to be rather unattractive ... but then I am not one to dribble every time I see an old Ferrari ;)

I'm sure there are plenty that disagree with me and will pay heaps for the car due to its history and the Ferrari badge ... others will save up for the swb models and get the better driving package.

You may be correct, I do dribble every time I see an old Ferrari. It's been about 30 years now but I just can't help myself!
