Is Delta Vee still in business????
They have the complete set of shock absorbers of my Ferrari 512 TR since December 2022 and do not respond to any phone calls or emails.
Now I have missed the deadline for Amelia Island.
Needless to say I am extremely concerned.

OW! This is never a good sign, for both of you.

I think someone in person needs to go visit there and see if they are still operating since they aren't responding to phone calls or emails. As for ShineKen, did you pay via CC? If so I would dispute the charge and hopefully you can get your money back. My shock absorbers need a rebuild, too at some point. I'd go through Bilstein Europe as when I inquired at Bilstein in the USA they had no idea what my shock absorbers were.

I'd talk to Performance Shock in Sonoma CA. Good people.

You can't dispute it via your credit card? Surely if you spoke to Pay Pal and explained the situation, they got to be able to do something I hope?

My Paypal payment was with funds in my Paypsl account, not funds extracted from a CC.

They redid my 456 rear shocks recently. Very quick turn around.

PSI is on the grounds of Sonoma raceway. You can take your shocks there while doing a track day with a different car if thats of interest. Now is a good time since the race season is still on. They get busy rebuilding shocks before “Runoffs” September 23-oct1 this year so call and plan accordingly. They are pretty dead after runoffs so last quarter of the year is least busy but then they have more shocks to do for the beginning of the season January. If you time it right you can get a good turnaround time.

try Anze. If they can’t do it then likely out of luck. Lots of racers use anze too. https://www.anzesuspension.com/

PSI wants $700/each to rebuild Bilsteins. That’s up there.

No warranty. No guarantee from leaks.

For those trying trying to get their shocks rebuilt, try contacting Bilstein EUROPE. I remember people having their shocks rebuilt from them before.
Bilstein USA had no idea what shock mine was when I contacted them and gave them all the information and no idea if they could rebuild it.

Bilstein USA (San Diego) referred me to PSI.

I know Bilstein Japan can rebuild them as well, but I can’t imagine them being much cheaper.

RE Suspension in North Carolina is an authorized Bilstein rebuilder. They can re-valve to your needs as well.

Looks like I'll be sending my shocks there.

They just recently moved. I've been holding off until they were settled in their new location as I don't want my dampers lost/misplaced. I am sending shocks out today. Will keep you guys posted.

They received my shocks Tuesday. Contacted me today to tell me the rebuild is done and dyno tested. They also replaced the lower bushings (I supplied OE bushings). $130 to rebuild each damper. PSI quoted me $700/each for the same service.

    Wow is exactly right.

BTW. Delta Vee won't rebuild a damper for less than $400 each. He used to rebuild them for $150-175 each, but later decided $400 each with a lifetime warranty was the only option.
