So this is probably my most favorite Ferrari model ever- it’s undoubtedly because it was in the movie Grand Prix and it was the first Ferrari F- 1 car I ever knew, and it remindes me of the very first slot car I used to race with my dad - so huge sentimental reasons.

So when I saw techno model was coming g out with a 1/18 scale version I put a deposit down. ASAP - just got the model today and I really think it’s great - way more detailed than I expected! yes I believe so. I want one from Surtees at Spa but have not seen one yet. i was not expecting a very detailed model, but this surpasses my expectation.

Looks great for "display" purposes... IMO its a little thick in the body work on the air intakes on the nose... and the glass looks "toyish"

Thanks for sharing it looks great!

I agree about "that era" it's heavily represented in my 1/43rds but not so much at 1/18...

Did you ever sort your Dad's collection?
I had sent a PM about the Ferraris...

Just like in the movie "Grand Prix"... minus the large white livery on the sides...

I still have all the cars, but they were packed up and its all in storage, its literally detective work to find the cars. With work picking up just have not had the time ...
