Looks Terrible, both of them. I’ve ordered up a rear one that doesn’t overlap the two black vertical bars and the front I’ve ordered up a small vinyl sticky that I’ve measured to be just under 3 inches high, to fit between bottom of Ferrari Emblem and front spoiler, will go there centered. If not, then I’ll ride without front... don’t have photos, as I’ve bought the plates before the car... haha, but will trial run my F8 Spider, status 70, which has the same size front vinyl sticky. In UK, company is called Pro Plates.
The thing that baffles me is why the design team didn't accommodate a place for a license plate. Even for the rear.
Thank you, great information! Hopefully others will take note. The other kind of plate for classic cars in black with silver numbers/letters had a smaller front plate as I recall.
They have. My dealer sent me this, I asked him was it dealer fit or factory, and if it was dealer fit I didn’t want it. But it’s Factory delivered like that, and it’s important as it has lights in it to light up rear number plate. Image Unavailable, Please Login that small plate area is 10” x 4”, and I will fit custom size plate there. It’s the overlap I dislike here with UK plates.
But I agree on your first post. They didn't think of this when they were designing, they just stuck a plate holder in the middle of it all. So bad!

Agree with you. They should have did like this (Photoshop I've made a year ago): Image Unavailable, Please Login
After looking at the pics in the thread and really wanting to like this car, I think that that: 1. There needs to be a better wheel option. 2. Looks better without the anchor style stripe. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
The anchor stripe reminds me of the silver nose painted on the early USA market Ferrari 365 GTB*S/4 coupe and Spyder models. This was done I believe to mimic the illegal covered headlights for the USA market cars. Ferrari tried open fixed headlights (as seen in the second picture below) but instead chose the 'pop-up' headlights solution. Perhaps the painted nose style influenced Ferrari Design for this SF90 stripe option. Flavio Manzoni is a student of the old classic Ferrari models every time a new design series is started... First time I see that fixed headlamp Daytona. And thank God for the pop up lights. Does that car still exist?
Normally when I see a prototype I wish more made it to the production version. But in this case Ferrari nailed it with not taking those elements to production.
carbon wheels are stunning on the car...and $33K! 100% agree on the nose part of the stripe...not good.
Although I like the lightness of the carbon wheel, from a design perspective, I prefer the Pista/TdF style wheels. Would be great if they had a similar, yet revised wheel for the SF90z Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
