Slattery's Perth umm original Aussie FHC:...
No but the same colour combo and year which is very rare red on red , our family's one is in QLD being restored by an FB friend .
I will disagree with You on that statement. Relevant/relative to the mechanical condition of that car,I would think it ideal as a car you could be confident of using on any occasion as it is. Unfortunately Slattery's don't give a condition report and the advert sounds like a dealers un/non 'enthusiast' style of description. IF!! the thing was in good mechanical cond then I feel it'd be reasonable buying for a very early Aussie delivered E.
Need to see it ,but an early Aussie car in a great colour combo , For me I'd spend the money on mechanics and making it safe to drive ..
I agree, would be a great DIY project car, recommission it quickly then slowly work through the rest. Red on red would be a rare combination I would have thought?
Red on red is rare ,a lot of the work you could do your self .Shockers ,sway bars ,rear springs ,wheels ,wheel bearings ,exhaust . The ones people are chasing now are early FHC like that or 4,2 FHC Series ones . And just period mods with good rubber , Image Unavailable, Please Login
Eggzackery! Pity Slattery's didn't note any history,it'd bode better for a sale if they had I'd have thought.
It's not being sold as a resto project, there's a bunch of paperwork that goes with it,a little presumptuous to presume it's gunna need all your dosh to fix it.!
I’d put my money on Mike tracking down the history if he had the VIN... He’s our Guru Swarmi for that....
LOL Panther bit out of my price range. I think Carlos was looking around at getting a Centurion, they come up from time. I reckon one would make nice display partially hidden in the bushes in the front yard.
I am of the understanding that this Museum will take up about 1/2 of your day to go through and is of fantastic quantity and quality. It's down the bottom of the Kuranda range. .........just wish I could spare all that time!
