    That’s what is weird...Speciale + $300K for a $550K car = $250K for the Speciale. Something amiss...

I checked with him because I don't want to spread misinformation and he was just talking off the top of his head, they didn't give him a number, that was him just throwing out a number for conversation without either a specific config on the GTS or a price on his Speciale.

What I did get in concrete from our GM is that the factory expects that if you want to order off the expensive side of the menu that you have a four seater and a two seater in your garage currently. That's a minimum but it would get you the GTS or the SF90 but not the SF90 Spider. He said that Spider orders being accepted are coming from current SF90 owners.

I will when I have bought mine in the next 48 hours. Take a look at Auto Trader UK, 812GTS, call them up offer £20k less and your arm will be snatched off. It’s important to separate the car (epic) and emotion, from its value. There are lots of people who can play in the £200k market, especially with finance, it thins out above £300, Plus people have memories now of all the latest hot things, 812, Pista Spider, now cheap.

World has changed and being a great car is no defence, though it helps.

I’m trying to decide if I should push button on ordering one for next spring. Have a slot if I want one.
Very tempting, but also hard to ignore the fact i might be well underwater before it even arrives!
I’m sure there must be plenty well specced ones, and the new 812VS will shake some out too.

Agree, just depends how much you value your precise spec.

Any ideas on how many 812 GTS' have been delivered to the USA? As of October 2020, I heard from one of the first USA owners that only 3 had been delivered in the USA. Have no idea how much of a ramp up has occurred from there but I keep hearing from my dealer that very low numbers of cars have been arriving to the USA. Would appreciate any perspective people may have.

I sold mine when the GTS showed up. They are obviously pretty much the same but imho, the GTS is just a bit better..looks, etc. I know some will say the SF is a bit sportier but I didn’t feel it. The one factor for me would be the gpf, my SF was pre but now you can upgrade the GTS exhaust and delete it so that could remove it as a decision point. Nice problem to have

There are less than 300 delivered to the US+Canada for now, which is still low compared to the whole number produced. Europe is the first market being delivered so number in Europe is higher for the moment.

Based on what my SA said I'd guess less then 60-80 cars total coming to Canada during entire production run

    Interesting to know, thanks.
The number I have is the cumulative numbers of all « US/Canada » cars, I don’t have the detail of each of these two markets.

I think a lot also has to do with how much the all in pricing has moved up for these cars. They are now selling 30k under instead of 30k over also because they are 60-100k over a F12 all in.
I mean look at the Pista and its various variants. In the US the Piloti all in was in the $550-$600k range. That is eye watering expensive and just shy of a SF90S all in! Does not surprise me at all that these cars are now trading under MSRP. If you look at from this POV the cars are holding up ok.

I was told by my dealer in Alberta that they were getting a total of 14 GTS. So if some of the larger markets in Canada get a little more allocations then 60-80 cars for Canada sounds about right.

I have got a Tailor Made allocation for 812 GTS. Going for a GT type classic look.

My dealer told me my allocation is being called by the factory for Q1 2022 production. I believe mine is one of the last allocations for my dealer so maybe 2022 is it for the GTS.? There are no new allocations so does anyone else have an allocation they have not committed to yet?

I usually don't like stripes on Ferraris but 812's aggressive shape lends itself really well to a stripe. Beautiful spec, congratulations.
