fair enough, it's stated weight might be different than reality as is common with Ferraris. either way it's nuts to think the t50s is 770kg lighter than a (non FXX) La ferrari
According to people who track both FXXK and GT3 cars there should be something like a 200+ kg difference between the two, which makes sense, considering that the FXXK should be around 90 kg lighter than a LaFerrari which IRL is a 1500-1600 kg kerb weight machine. The FXXK is a track toy, not a race car. The T50S is a track toy too, but built on the basis of considerably different (and far better, at least to me) principles.
This machine is really going to be amazing on the track, In terms of experience it will be really hard to find better.

29 years later (McLaren F1) he still teaches how it's done! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Well done Mr Murray.
Well, it's a start. 3,000 rpm limited, long way to go. I'm sure things will ramp up quickly. Gordon seemed satisfied, so all's good. https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a35840966/gordon-murrray-t50-xp2-first-drive/ .
I want to love this car but it’s so tiny, the same or smaller than a boxter and I have to say the frog eyes and the fan at the back to my eyes looks so bad. There I have said it. No knock on anyone that has ordered one, good luck to you and I love the way it sounds on paper.

Other than those cosmetic points you mentioned I think the 'thickness' of the body panels above the rear wheel and the overall 'curviness' of the profile are just so dated-looking (reminds me of all those atrocities in the 90s).
Great assessment and well stated. I agree but still desperately want one. From previous experience with another vehicle, I learnt that you don't see the shapes that you don't like when you drive it. You just enjoy the experience.
I saw the video of Murray driving the T50 and I was shocked at how much it looks like a McLaren F-1... I wonder if anyone at McLaren is going to object? if Ron Dennis was there - there would already be a legal battle going on. But I do like the look. the fan is a bit too prominent but i get it. LOVE the racing version ... that would be my streetcar... but alas $$$$$$ is never going to be there for me.
T.50 one hundred owners : I am guessing it might be Nick Mason, Jay Leno, David Lee and Ron Dennis. Any guess, anyone?
I have a question, is there any possibility to have a T.50s Niki Lauda for the road? A "Special" variant maybe.
