Well he moves the car Around a LOT and has a lot of staff.
A lot of these cars are in and out in 2/3 days tops though.
Some people like myself are okay with it. My old Testarossa he would live it inside at my request and the cover was on so the leather never got damaged

Not my experience. It was 6+ weeks for even the simplest of tasks. That is why I quit going there.

@Skidkid did I miss it...do you go to Juan at GPM in campbell or whom do you use?

Roberto did my PPI so I was going to stick with him for the work on the car that he called out.

I have been to many in the area. Yes, I use Juan. I tried Roberto and every time it was months to get my car back.

I had talked privately with another NorCal F-chatter that had very good things to say about Juan.

I'll drive by both shops hopefully on Thursday. I'm inclined to stick with Roberto since he was very nice and accommodated me.

If that is the route I take I can report back here to the forum on how things go cost wise and time wise since his estimation process was so vague/general.

I had a good/positive feeling from him and the other guy I interacted with there (Manuel I think).

It will take time than Juan that’s for sure but Roberto is nice price wise. Depends where u live too.

Stopped in to see Roberto yesterday and will drop off the car in a week to tackle the PPI list.

    Every-time I see him I get a good vibe.

Roberto is awesome. I take my cars to him for something major, where honesty, deep model expertise, and good work are hyper critical and speed is often the enemy. If I have something quick and generic-- I will go to a closer shop (Roselli is almost an hour from me). Roberto also does not do anything unnecessary or inflate things, just because he can. He is also a decent human being. But it is not the right place for immediate gratification, yelp-posting malcontents, or people who are afraid to have their cars get pooped on by pigeons. :)

I got my car pooped on at Ferrari of Sillicon Valley... they keep the car outside too...

I am still upset that the cafe and gift shop went away (and the Formula1 race viewings with venue-themed breakfasts that went along with that) at FMOSV. Not to mention the Maserati divorce. The new Maser /Alfa dealer in Burlingame needs to be remodeled.

Drove by yesterday. Saw several cars parked outside including a 430 with license "boss430", I think that's a forum members car?
For me I wouldn't be comfortable having my car be parked outside the shop where anyone could basically do anything to it? It's a sort of industrial area and there is a bar across the street.
That would be my only concern.

The cars don’t stay outside overnight (normally). Roberto bought the facility across the street so they won’t be dirty anymore as well.
Ferrari of Sillicon valley also leave the car outside just FYI

Yeah I wouldn't go to Ferrari of Silicon Valley either. Correction I took mine there for a free inspection, two years ago. Don't know if they are still doing that. I heard through word of mouth during one of their cars and coffee up at Sand Hill road.

I have been using them for 11 years. No complain at all. Roberto is very knowledgeable and price are competitive. Yes you wait a bit but very worth it if you consider that they do a great job.
