Looks good and an 18 minute recharge makes this more viable than others. You could plug it in , have a coffee and update fchat and be off before you know it
But how many of those fast charge cycles will the battery stand? The physics of batteries is such that they have more life with slower charging, shorter life with fast. But you of course know that.
The battery story is not really important in this throw away society, short term ownership means it's someone else's problem. What people want it range and quick recharge, life of the battery is of secondary importance .... now. I'm sure when they come to change the battery we will hear all about it from the second tier owners whining that this is terrible and bad for the environment, pandas, seal pups, etc
I remember when the Prius first came out and everyone was going on about the battery life and what would be the cost to replace the batteries... now after how many years you hear nothing about this?
FO you lot, the mayor I did but I never shot myself in the foot and that tyre had a leak in it ...... the torch wasn't mine but the baggage I'll own up to ... as Adrian says "it could happen to anyone"
Just Hoogle it. "Toyota says a Prius battery will last between 100,000-150,000 miles or between 8-10 years." List price is $2295 Note that a Prius battery is much smaller than a pure EV.
Spark plug question ? If you have a motor that has some oil leaking through the valve guide seals ,to burn it of the plugs , do you run a hotter plug? #Not a major issue as only once has the car gone onto uneven cylinders and then it was a rear spark plug that had "gummed up" with rubbish. Asking for a friend..
We could never do that to a "survivor " The old T Series gets more usage then the two Rolls-Royce's , we warm to that "old girl' so much. 8,000 miles in the last 3 years ! Might even bring her on GAD or GG Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
