Because of my speed limit experiences in Switzerland I guess the answer is "You don't have the GPF installed? No problem you can pay the 50k Swiss Francs by credit card"

That 250, so lovely and the 288 GTO too. Some cars, speed and modernity just don’t matter anymore, they remain stunning.

Barry , I like your suggestion - if they did , it would make me feel all Gooey inside :)
However , I’m aware that there’s as much chance of that happening as me winning Miss World wearing my Rugby top and not having shaved for 5 days ....... actually ..... now I think if it , stranger things have happened ! :)

    I find this absolutely extraordinary!!!

What are the chances after Avia11 comments to you regarding an Otolaryngologist that you are actually one?

And the fact that you own both cars in question too!!!

Must be one in 5 Billion??

    Simply amazing.

I’m just watching from the sidelines cheering for everyone getting the 812VS. I’d love one next to my TDF but will have to wait for secondhand market...Goo

Your TDF is perfection. In my opinion the TDF is the quintessential V12 Ferrari.

I am a Hyper Sensible (no joke) and owner of both as well (GTS coming soon but had the chance to drive one for few hours already). Of course the noise is still beautiful but clearly you can hear it is muffled compared to the SF. All the detail of the sound disappeared. It is like listening to 8.1 music with a mono speaker. Music will still be good but not quite as good and enjoyable than with a 8.1 system. You can compare it also to listening to a music that has a frequency between 20hz to 20k hz but playing it on a speaker producing max 20hz to 2k hz. Same thing with the OPF, the sound is here but the high quality and details are not anymore due to various filter added tru years but especially OPF that almost killed the game.

I don’t doubt that. But many of the mods discussed here are not strictly legal. For example, in the UK it is illegal to modify an exhaust in a way that makes the car louder than stock. Virtually every aftermarket exhaust has that impact.

Everyone has their own assessment of risk and ethics, but i personally don’t think GPF removal is different to other modifications

    Everyone that’s on the list.
Dealers are supposed to receive more information tomorrow. No idea of specs or images.
These generally seem to leak faster online than dealers receive the official info.
I have not heard anything about an Aperta being offered to VVIP’s....

i have done a back to back comparison and their is a noticeable difference at low RPM when driving both cars, my wife went for a ride with me and described the GTS as being chocked.

i do agree however that Ferrari did an incredible effort to keep the difference between the 2 at minimum.

That is not what I found. GTS is tuned quite differently to the SF, mine does not sound like a SF sound with a few sonic ranges cut out. Nobody will say GPF is a good thing but Ferrari worked hard and retuned the sound to give a very different character. It is quieter, though not too much, but it is different. Which means some will prefer the SF, some the GTS. Top down in the alps the GTS is still almost painfully loud, it sounds absolutely amazing. If you only want max volume, go SF. But then a Speciale is louder still. It doesn’t sound as good as either V12 though, by quite a margin. I own and love all three cars so not trying to favour one over the other. Sound quality is much more important to me than volume alone. Both 812s have volume and quality, but they’re just different. I have 1,500 miles on SF, 3,000 on GTS and 13,000 on Speciale.
