Flavio, You can post any political or controversial items in this thread and have at it: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f1-p-r-discussion-thread.631213/ Read through it and enjoy. Some funny stuff there and of course charged discussion. Your post was moved to here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147716511/ Your ban for P&R material in the F1 section was for 2 days because of this on Feb 3. According to the logs, you posted another P&R item on Feb 5 so you got a longer ban for 14 days from a different moderator for the next offense. I am not aware what that content was... So you may just want to post all of your content to the P&R section until you are very clear on the rules. They have been up a long time. You can not post profanity or porn, and no personal attacks or trolling. Leave normal f1 items in the normal f1 section. In the F1 section, Don't comment about racist topics, political topics, or figures even if f1 drivers or teams are in the news because of it. We will not let the F1 section get toxic because of this. Thanks. Robb
Wait, if little Greta Thunberg starts her F1 career tomorrow, is she still a political figure? Is this post P&R content?
If you take into account her comp...... OH NO!!! almost went into P&R [Banned] territory!!!! That was a close one!
Again, it seems you mods are talking a different language than us. Perhaps it's cultural differences? Funny, because I lived 2,5 years in New England and go at least once a year to the USA, but I don't remember coming across to such strict people, who can't differentiate a funny joke about F1 from something political. I used to joke about strictly taking things on its literally meaning with my German friends, but seems like I can now do so with my American brother-in-law and nephew. Anyway, thanks for your answer. Since this forum is a private company, it's my problem to shut up and decide whether to participate or not.
How can an athoritarian be confused with a democratic leader ?? AND How could anyone thing that was poltically correct ??
I'm sorry. I think my post went over your head. *** I gave an analogy on content; you can fill in any other personality. I simply used the original example quoted to illustrate. *** Let's try again: Say I own a Cher (singer) forum. Some folks insist on posting Ferrari content there. I declare this is Cher music forum, but tell you what, in the spirit of harmony, I'm going to create a subforum called "Ferrari" - post as much Ferrari content you like there. These same users still insist on posting Ferrari content outside the Ferrari subforum. Even more ironic, the posts complain about people talking about Ferrari content outside appropriate places. The cognitive dissonance is painful.
But what if Cher starts talking about Ferrari? What if Cher and her bandmates make Ferrari based statements all the time?
No, he had a possibly obsessive dislike of LH44, but that doesn't make him a racist. I never saw him post racist sentiments. As he has no right to reply, I don't think it is a productive debate.
No moderator dares to answer these questions. Things have to fit in boxes, nowadays. And when they don't, it's up to the mods to interprete...
I just realized it!!! Maybe @Robb is an AI and not human, so IT cannot differentiate the tones meant in the comments..... Think about it [I just HOPE THIS is not taken as an P&R post]
Can´t see why, it's hard to find a less racist place than Narnia or Morder, they accept all sorts of people there!
Yes, that is one thing the Narnia Herald and the Mordor Evening Advertiser do not share with The New York Times
