Looks like an 812 rolled in the wet. https://www.expressandstar.com/news/motors/2021/01/19/storm-christoph-blamed-for-250000-ferrari-crash/
Not good. Looks like that hurt as well! I had an “intro day” with my main dealer about this time last year. Part of which was a test drive in one of the demo cars. I wanted the 812, but the weather was filthy and they said no, not even they would take it out.
Looks like summer tyres....No idea what temperature it's there right now but I assume quite cold, combined with standing water = potential disaster even around the speed limit... These tyres just don't work well below 4c. Winter tyres is a small investment but will make the car so much better to drive in winter times. Miles more grip.
Its around zero ish here at the moment. I’d be interested in trying these winter tyres at some stage. My only experience of winter tyres is from Canada where winter tyres are a very different things!!!. I’ve heard the winter tyres for a more temperate uk type winter are very good!
Tyre tech has made such a giant leap forward in the last 8 or so years vs 2000s and before...it's all about the rubber compound. The winter rubber obviously has more and deeper grooves, but also the rubber itself works far better in temperatures below 4c. Leaps and bounds difference.
I have them on my Ghibli. Handled the recent snow with no problem. Up inclines with compact frozen snow with no hassle. They really are amazing. Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk
