Yes wireless, The Meater+ reaches 165 ft. The regular Meater (non +) only does 33 ft.

I love that it tells the cook temp as well as meat temp. As you know, depending where the thermometers is on the BBQ, it can read high or low. Having the cook temp measured right by the meat is great. Another great feature is the estimated cook time left to temp. It lets me know if I should take a nap, run the the store, or be at the ready to wrap or pull.

The only "flaw" for me is that probe battery is charged by the base battery, which has no way to plug in and charge?! Seems silly that I'll have to go out any buy batteries, to charge a battery.

    What's Netflix!!?
I pretty much gave up on TV about 5 or so years ago. To be honest, I just don't have the attention span. I'll watch local news if there's severe weather bearing down on us...T

Soup and a sammich. That's what my grandma would have waiting for me for lunch on a cold day. Chicken soup, though.

    My Grandmother looooooved me.

She lived a block from Elementary school.

    Steak.
Hash Browns by which all others are measured and none compete
Poached Eggs by which . . . & none compete.
    Corn or Green Beans.
    Popover Biscuit. Mindbending.
Small Coke - with just a touch of frost. Once, she forgot. Once!
    Scoop of Vanilla.

    Every School Day.

All I got was my choice of breakfast. Pancakes, waffles or French toast.;):p

And only Coca-Cola in the glass bottles.

And btw, vanilla ice cream is the best.

I used to spend all summer at my grandma's house. Last day of school was half day. Turn in your books, report cards, etc. I had a little duffle bag that I'd fill with shorts, skivvies, t-shirts. I'd go directly to her house once they let us out of school, and didn't leave until my folks dragged me out the night before classes started in the fall. Those days were the best! She didn't cook fancy, but it all tasted great. And, that's where I learned to cook.

And btw, peach ice cream is best! That was my grandmother's favorite flavor. Back then, you'd only get peaches in summer. She had one of those old fashioned hand cranked ice cream makers. I looked like The Hulk by the end of summer!

My neighbors up until I was 7 or so were like my surrogate grandparents. My mom said when I was 3 years old I would leave the house without saying anything and walk over there and her name was Allene and she would make me a butter sandwich on Mrs. Bairds white bread.

And Earl the husband was one of the funniest and most amusing people I've ever known. And my goodness he could smooth talk those 20 year old waitresses like he was their age and the best looking guy in the room. So funny.

My great grandmother lived with us in her own suite with small stove, etc. She was Icelandic and made dishes from there. It was nice having her around the house.

Last night cheated on the diet and had A&W................ I might get a puppy tonight. (not to eat, she's a Rottweiler). The breeders house is near a Canadian chain called Swiss Chalet. They serve mostly rotisserie chicken. Thinking I'll grab a bite there before picking up the pup.

Yes. I will never make it as Starkist tuna as I have good taste....

I like Dukes as it is slightly tart and reminds me a little bit of Kewpie. I almost put Kewpie on it and melted it along with the other cheese half.

I just love that acid bite Kewpie gets under the broiler- I finish off my salmon like that.
