Red in white is great. Had an M Roadster like that.

There's enough red/blue cars that someone must know something...

Are you sure that’s his car Robb? In cosmic girl the Nero F355 used was RHD. And seeing as he resides in the UK would be most likely a rhd car he would spec up. I know he loves the verde colour.

I just remember seeing it in a classified ad. I’m not sure but know it was black and that identical green.

    I dig it.

The perception of depth in red/blue images is interesting as it also depends on expectations, or perceptual interpretation. I know the images presented before are flat plane images and I don't see much depth in them. But in this image, I see great depth, apparently because it is a natural image and my expectation is that the sky is much further away than the tree leaves. Try as I may, I can not get my brain to interpret this image as flat, because my brain know that in nature it should not be. Add to it the variation in shading and the perception of depth is further reinforced.

Seems like who ever buys the 488 PISTA should also buy the blue/red 355. Would be a nice collection of the chassis/tech evolution.

Hey John, if you don't care for the blue Pista how about something in green? Here is another vehicle from the same owners garage. Rob, don't feel bad for the guy getting rid of the Pista because it is said he also has a Pista drop top as well. It's all laid out in NC/SC section here on the forum.
PS It is also said the cornerstone of his collection is an F40.

It's not the blue I object to. It's the pimped out red interior. Bad taste is bad taste. (I know, only my opinion.) It doesn't change because you put a Ferrari badge on it.

Not a fan of that green, but I don't see anything to object to. Actually I happen to like green cars, but darker. I've had two greens. Almost bought a Verde Silverstone 355.

Are 355’s heading significantly north in terms of price? A future classic for sure, but how far in to the future?
People in the know expect the 355 to follow the path of the Dino, one day you’ll wake up and it’s worth 3,4,5 times the value, it’s all speculative and nobody has a working crystal ball, but.......

I’m noticing 348 close to 355 asking prices... spiders that is. Must be related to maintenance otherwise it’s crazy bc the 355 is so much better imo than the 348

Well, I don’t see as many desirable or unique spec cars out there for sale anymore. That’s always a sign.

As a secondary reference point for others, I have received several pm’s to buy my Blu 95 berlinetta and for over 110k. So I’d say things are moving up to a higher level. I don’t think owners are flipping. I see them trying to grab one before their options get too slim.

Apparently the market thinks otherwise? I mean if the 355 is more maintenance intensive (your words) then not sure what better means? Better looking... sure. I mean 348's are better than Dino's so 348's should be more? Markets are weird... I think Rob may be right with rarer spec cars for certian.

A 355 is a lot more car and a lot better looking than a 1963 250 GTE, but about $300K separate them.

It's going to be interesting to see how these cars age - parts are already getting scarce and the electrical system is so finicky. These cars are amazing drivers though and the last of a breed of exotic cars.

Yes, but the average 355 isn't a rare spec car.
No, what happens when a 250 GTE is 75 yrs old. Rather have the GTE.
