I sold this car to Brian about four years ago. We have stayed in touch and I know he has taken care of the car. Here is a link to my project thread when I did the engine out service. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/ferrari-348-engine-out-service.429582/
we have a really nice spider for sale I just dropped the price on. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1993-ferrari-348-spider.577256/
The wheels are high maintenance, that's for sure (cleaning around all of those bolts). Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get the rims? I just purchased a ‘94 348 Spider that has the same rims. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Great spec seen today. Great job with presenting it, too. https://lbilimited.com/offerings/1990-ferrari-348-tb/ sjd
With Covid and everything else I expected the 348 market to be flat, or maybe dwindling a bit. But these recent sales are interesting. 1) Early iconic example ('90/red/tan/targa) with low miles (16k). Excellent condition although not perfect, 10 year old tires, 5 years on the cambelts, non-original badging (simple fix), no status on the a/c or the mouse belts - sold for $73,5 at BaT. Other minor issues are surface rust in the door sills and lower wheel wells plus non-original badging. Lower body trim painted gloss instead of matt black. Seems like a great driver - sold for $42,5 at BaT. ZFFRG36A3M0089736 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-ferrari-348-ts-targa-7/
I have NO affiliation Or connection with this car however the price is interesting. https://www.sportcars.miami/inventory/ferrari/348/087547/
Yes, a premium example - red/tan one-owner Berlinetta with less than 2k miles. ZFFRG35A7N0093212 - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-ferrari-348-10/ Looks great in pictures!
Funny, I’d rather own the black 348 with minor cosmetic issues rather than the red one with a major service looming large. Why do you think there was such a disparity in price? Is red that much of a draw? Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Miles I bet. I am at 12,800 miles and I look forward to thoroughly ruining it with miles when I get done with all the restoration.
Yes, red and low miles. Plus the auction feeding frenzy. But I think that if you looked at both cars in person then their conditions would be more evident, and differing greatly.
For clarification, the car came from climate controlled storage, its showroom, by restoration I mean replacing all the mechanical and electrical everything that's not currently broken so I do not get stranded driving cross country for a stupid TPS or MAF or fuel pump or fill in the blank, its currently 2 pages long.
348's look better in person in black I think than they do in pictures. Great color, black exterior with the saddle interior is fantastic.
What do you think about this rare Competizione?: https://www.dkeng.co.uk/ferrari-sales/1244/prestige_cars/ferrari_348_gt_competizione.html (I have no affiliation to DK, just a happy customer.)
