He is one of those guys that is just a frustrated miserable ******. I've got a friend who went to medical school with him and he said that's exactly how he was in medical school, residency and so he continues to bash anyone that is more successful than him. It irritates him more because I'm from the other group before the merger. He is not well-liked by anyone in the group including all of our technical staff but since he's a partner, we can't really do much until he commits a crime. I suspect that his home life sucks really bad and he had a poor upbringing and despite him making a good living, he just can not change. I feel for his kids more than anything. Imagine having a father that everyone thinks is ******? We all are aware that life is too short so, not worth letting idiots like him get to me.
These things would go a lot better if people used the proper terminology in their titles. Prices = Objective and data based Value = Subjective and in the eye of the beholder There, I fixed the internet.
I left a deposit In December for mine. The order has not been placed yet as they have not put any in the Modis system yet. I’m definitely getting another Nero car for sure. Best ,Kirk. Ps. I swore I would never buy another new car for the ass whooping I’m gonna get on this one , but here I am drinking their cool-aid. I should have stayed in college and not dropped out.
LOL, I had the opposite problem - I stayed in WAY too long....As far as the Kool Aid, we’re all listening to Reverend Jimmy to varying degrees. If you need proof positive, most folks here are watching Netflix or playing on their phones right now. I’m watching vids of the F8. I love the 458, but at some point I’ll end up with another one, most likely will skip the 88 and go for the 8. Looking forward to your impressions of the Tributo.
Same here. I really feel like getting a used 812 GTS once the last kid goes to college in 4 years, while keeping the 458 and selling the FF.
People like Tom are not unusual. Most ,in fact, are rarely happy for those who are successful and content. The Toms of the world are jealous and envious and cannot accept the fact that they are not in the same position.
Gentlemen, I believe that Ferrari figured that the price of the Scud and Speciale went up and the customers made money, so why don't we just charge the customers an extra $100K for the Pista and we make all the profit while the customers take the loss. So Ferrari made a $400K Pista and sold it to the customer for an MSRP Price of $500K, now there is no profit to be made by the customer. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Now John Doe wants $600K for his MSRP $500K Pista and its just not going to happen. Why would I pay $600K for an old Pista when I an get new F8 for 1/2 the price? The F8 is just as fast and looks just as nice if not better than the Pista. Also did you guys notice how close Pista is to Pasta? Coincidence, I don't think so.
Find me someone who is willing to sell their Pista and buy an F8 just to save some money. And Pistas are not 500-600k. you are in the low to mid 400k range. And comparing Pista to Pasta- dont even know what that means.
Pista prices in the UK are down big time, today is the first time I have seen a pista for £300k, once one guy drops the price the rest follow, maybe in 3 months prices will be lower still. A £250k pista looks like value as it will be the same price as a nicely optioned F8
All I am saying is that Ferrari took the big cut by marking up the Pista for no reason. You might be able to make some money by asking more than MSRP on your Pista, but its not going to be like the Scud and the Speciale.
have you ever thought that some people don’t buy Ferrari’s to make money? They buy them to drive the car.
Your post soent make any sense. What do you mean by marking up for no reason? How old are you? The scud is selling below msrp and so is the Speciale.
