Followed this recipe which was sent to me by my cousin. Couldn't find lard so I used butter. I didn't do something right because it took me an hour of kneeding to get it to the right consistency. And they didn't come out as soft as hers. But the taste was there. So I'm close. Nope, no press. I used a drinking glass to roll them out.
Au gratin potatoes and threw already cooked frozen shrimp on the grill after a marinade bath. Image Unavailable, Please Login
hopefully by June 1 (lease ends on that day). Its sadly very complicated in the covid times...we cannot go to any country together at the moment...and the embassy's are closed, so I can't get anyone to do something on an expedited basis either. Its a mess...might have to go to our separate countries and wait out the immigration and border freezes etc. We had planned the summer in Poland and then her immigrating formally to the USA in September, returning with me. Not happy to have to part in this time, but we don't seem to have a choice given the current laws/restrictions on travel, borders and immigration. I will have to isolate for two weeks, so scouting a small apartment air bnb in Scottsdale to start, before then heading to Wyoming for the summer where I found a small cabin near where I used to live. (its complicated...I sold all houses, all cars and pretty much everything, so arriving back with my suitcases and nothing else, and no Ania...sigh) shhh...if I don't have to isolate, I will go to my "kitchen away from home" at Maestro's City Hall in Old Town Scottsdale for that steak (the air bnb I found is very near where I used to live).
F dude! But if it were easy everyone would do it..... Pulled pork with my wife’s bbq sauce, salad and freshly picked (today) sweet corn. (I checked only 19g of carbs) Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I decided to skip the steak. Had sashimi and rolls instead. I skipped lunch and ordered too much. Two orders of tuna and salmon sashimi. A order of BC Rolls, smoked salmon in a roll, chopped scallop and California rolls. I'm stuffed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Crap. That's a pain. I'm praying for you guys. I'd self isolate once you return out of an abundance of caution, for your own safety. Went grocery shopping the other day and masks, gloves, social distancing and the like seem long forgotten already. I'm thinking we're due for a spike in cases over the near future...T
Immigration is messed up. My brothers Cuban friend is trying to get his family from Cuba to the US. His middle daughter is turning 21 soon and that means she'll have to apply for a visa on her own. Much more complicated. His oldest daughter got into Canada with his ex-wife.
Nice...where are you getting garden tomato's yet...central valley calif and mine are still green. looks good
We have a heated greenhouse and start the seeds at the end of January. Flowers by mid late March fruit in May. Very mild winter / early Spring here didn't hurt. We hand polinate until it's safe to put the plants out and let the bees and the wind to take over. Jedi
I gotta remember to check in more often some wicked food team. Today was home made sesame chicken. Used a basic recipe you can find online. I think the core was about 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup soy sauce and honey. The rest is little stuff this was an outline https://www.dinneratthezoo.com/lighter-honey-sesame-chicken/ and school of wok on youtube. Chicken was pan seared to proper temp first. Veggies toasted, sauce added and meat put back in. It was damn good. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Great! Got a big bag. MOI picked it. We usually go to their field to get it. FYI my basil is growing gangbusters and flowering already, really thick little bushes- 70s porno bush thick.... I'm curious- as we're surrounded by rotating row crops of maize, cotton, corn and soybeans, are the typical soybeans we grow down here the same variety as in the commonly eaten edamame? If so, this outlaw is going to routinely steal a ****load before they defoliate!!! I've got a really superfast getaway car
And, based on the pics you have posted here, looks like you can hold a heck of a lot of soybeans in the boot of an 812 SF! T
Fajitas, black bean salsa and guacamole for me. They made chimichangas with the meat and beans. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Spectacular. Cannot find Wewalka dough since the onset of COVID craziness. So, time to adapt. Used these uncooked tortillas from Costco. And covered them with fixin's. Cook @ 450 F in the oven, about 8 or so min. Toppings pre-cooked. Image Unavailable, Please Login Salmon & mushroom pizza. Before. Image Unavailable, Please Login After. Looks oh so good. Making me really hungry for the tri tip I've got in the fridge ready for Saturday. Along with a rack of ribs and boneless beef spare ribs.
I'm going grocery shopping this afternoon. Might buy steaks there, they are decent or say screw it and spend the big bucks at the butcher shop for a T-bone.
Do they have Kroger-affiliated stores in your neck of the woods. Lots of great meat sales @ Kroger this week - brisket, BOGO on pork ribs, t-bones, and chicken leg quarters. Am trying to get authorization to venture out to the store from the boss...T
