Nice, and thank you Marcel, nothing like picking up your brand new Ferrari Supercar at Maranello on EE plates.
That's a relatively long gestation period... 135871 entered production one week later than 135872 and was completed on 11 February 2004 ... That's 54 days versus 140 days... What could have contributed to 135872 not being completed until 30 April 2004? Surely not just the paint? Paul
135871 is an European version. 135872 is an USA version. To give another example: 135868 (Rosso Corsa 322) sold new to Victoria, Australia: Build start 11 December 2003. Completion date 26 July 2004. More than seven months. Marcel Massini

Interesting factoid, thanks for sharing. Do you know how many US (or global) Rossa Corsa's had all-black seats? I'm assuming all red was the most common?

I knew that car very well. First owner Mario Pietrella often came to Ferrari meetings with this and other cars from his collection. I also had the privilege of sitting at the wheel when he invited some Ferraristi to his garage. Another Italian collector who used his Enzo quite often was Silvio Barili. His red car had seats with the central part in red fabric and black leather sides. He told me it was the only one built in this specification. Does anybody know if this is true? Thank you, Mr. Massini. I only remember the license plate, CE 480 PR. Do you know if it was the only Enzo with this spec, as he told me? Inviato dal mio ANE-LX1 utilizzando Tapatalk
No, 133930 isn't the only one Michele. There are currently another 5 red Enzos known, which are equipped with seats in black leather and red fabric inlays... There may be even more, as there are a few other red Enzos with black/red seats known picturewise, where the lack of a decent interior photo does not allow it to specify the black/red fitting in detail! Would you happen to have such an interior photo for 133930 by chance? TIA
It now lives in a prominent USA Ferrari collection with all the Supercars from 288 GTO onwards and is extremely well cared-for.
