i was there. that car was later on the subject of many disputes. (funny story about that sale - i drove there in a Rolls phantom, expecting it to be easier to park since they would valet it....no. the palace doorman instructed me to park it myself in the lot.....right next to another 3 Rolls phantoms....ah Gstaad )
I'm curious, is it considered that a colour change decreases the value of an F40? Or perhaps more to the point, decreases its desirability? Presumably a non-factory coloured car would not be eligible for Classiche Certification? I understand it may reduce the appeal to some buyers, therefore may be more difficult to sell, which may force a price reduction, but all else being equal...
