The car absolutely a timeless beaut and priced to sell. The house is also gorgeous with the surrounding area!! Beautiful combo. Did your house ad emphasize the the Ferrari that comes with it? I have seen house ad that comes with Rolls too. GLWS and again thank you for your service, John. Don't mind those 30 years old idiots.
The most likely buyer for John and Margaret's home will probably come from S FL or SW FL. I lived in Naples for 18 years and have built two homes in the NC mountains. One in Blowing Rock and my current near Maggie Valley/Waynesville. In the summer you see as many FL plates as you do NC. The prices of real estate in the nicer FL areas cost many times more than here in NC. Unfortunately cost of construction up here is not inexpensive...just like FL nicer towns. I would recommend buying the best existing home like John's rather than building. His place is amazing. All log construction and built like a brick-**** house. At $1.350m w/ an amazing garage I can tell you with confidence that replacing these structures would cost double his asking price. Gorgeous views, clean air and water.......NC mountains are the best place I have ever lived. Better than oceanfront in DE and gulf front in Naples. I am sad that John has to move on.....but it's the reality of his life. Hope you all get a chance to meet him someday. Not only a hero but a tough soldier then and now. And as warm and welcoming of a man you will ever have the privilege to know.
I now know my answer to the thread in B&I asking what I'd do if I had a $million cash. Beautiful place and car! Best luck with the sale good Sir!!
Damn....If I bought this, we wouldn't even have to change the License Plate.... WHAT A BEAUTY! Wish I was (still) flush enough to buy this. Damn virus. Good luck, sorry to read all your troubles, and as always: THANK YOU for your service!
Oh damn, my apologies. I didn't actually see the OP's longer post which is why I had no clue why that person was going off about being a veteran etc. I was browsing the classified and I just saw the pictures of the car and the house. No offense intended, OP. Was meant to be lighthearted in the era of corona. GLWS.
i got the comment as intended and believe me, if that property was on the Western side of the States (say Idaho), I'd be very interested, not only for how gorgeous it is, the Ferrari that would be left for me in the garage, but the isolation from all the insanity of L.A....not to mention the CV19 b/s going on. It looks PERFECT for all of that.
address 406 Blue Vista Rd Canton NC 28716 The house is not located in Canton but that is the nearest post office
Thank you. I have only been to Asheville once, but mesmerized by a southern restaurant that seemed pretty famous. The biscuits, chicken etc made me consider moving.
Thanks for the nice comments - I did not realize when I started this sale thread that the conovirus was coming -now I really appreciate the home with the security of the property and the location - my wife and I have one of our daughters and son with us during this time - what a blessing - he is only 7 and everything is an adventure Be safe

Hey John. Sorry to hear about things. Hadn’t spoken in a while but have thought about you. Hope you’re doing well buddy.
I apologize, I'm new to the forums. As such, I'm unable to send PM. John, is this car still available?
