Well, I am by no means competent regarding "classic Ferraris" tool kits, and furthermore I know that many of these are not fully period correct (= including reproduction Tools) so you would be better advised to ask an expert in the correct "vintage" forum, but I do know that some 275 GTB, etc tool rolls are indeed valued at about $ 25k...

It can be a fascinating subject, Patrick. I am - originally - from a family of carpenters, blacksmiths and ironmongers, I suppose it explains my respect for tools; still have many, many tools in the family home, most are XIXth century, can't get rid of them. Sometimes I even found some that I had forgotten, like a two-handed whipsaw, which I don't have much use for these days...

Needs oiling. Try cutting down a tree with it - and drive away in a Ferrari - should get the greenies outraged (again)

It has been cleaned and oiled since I rediscovered it; but no tree cutted with it yet...
Actually, considering the shape and spacing of the teeth, I think it is not designed for cutting trees, but for cutting roof frame members out of long wood parts ("scie à chevrons" in French).
What is certain is that I have not to worry about a period correct tool roll for that one!
