Watching F5000s scrabble to get the power down on a snowy circuit in 2018, is something I won't forget for a while. :D

Well, perhaps we can organize an F-chat meet-up for a pint or two.

Looks as though it is still on, notwithstanding Coronavirus scare. Anyone else going?

Department of Culture Media and Sport said there is currently no rationale for cancelling sports events because of Corona virus. Will be there both days.

Sadly we may have to change our plans.

If anyone is interested in two Saturday and Sunday passes plus roving grandstands, please PM me as soon as possible.

That's a shame - I was looking forward to meeting you, putting a face to a name and sharing a pint or two. Under the circumstances, however, I can understand your decision - if I were planning a trip abroad in the next few weeks, I would be changing my plans, too.

I am still hoping that MM will go ahead, but am becoming less optimistic as each day passes.:(

Thanks, John. The regret is mutual. I was looking forward to meeting you, as well.

This will be the first Members’ Meeting or Revival we have missed since 2002. It is our one annual “big trip.” We'll miss seeing the friends we’ve made over the years.

I would think that if the event were to be cancelled an announcement would be imminent, especially considering the logistical arrangements of the entrants.

The question of the event going ahead was asked on one of Goodwood’s Facebook pages. The response was as of now it is on but they are monitoring the situation and advice given from the Government. It sounds like they will go ahead unless there is a large events ban.

It seems touch and go whether this may be announced soon, possibly even later today (after the Cobra meeting). Scottish government have already announced such a ban earlier today.

Well, we got a reprieve this afternoon, so let's keep our fingers firmly crossed - a lot can change in a fortnight.

Just received an email from Goodwood that the event is on as it stands but the will be introducing extra precautions to minimise the possibilty of virus transmission, basically lots of hand sanitzers everywhere. I think I might stay away from the indoor food areas personally.

Thank you, Matthew. Has there been any voluntary postponement or cancellation of outdoor events in England, or any speculation that that could happen?

Yes. All games in England's Premier League, EFL, FA Women's Super League and Women's Championship are postponed.

But is anybody still going to go.
As we care for elderly relations, I probably should not this year
