    Hi All

I'm about to purchase a 2011 458 with 33k on the clock white Bianco.Avus with Nero Black roof , full leather carbon racing seats, carbon interior, iPod connection , front rear sensors, led steering wheel , Ferrari shields and yellow calipers.
Another 458 has just come on the market the same as above 2012 with 39k on the clock the about 10k more expensive with added options, rear camera, satnav bluetooth, carbon fibre racing package, rear diffuser-under door cover-sill kick-front spoiler- rear mouldings in carbon fibre, front lift, and tpm. The interior is leather alcantara.

Would appreciate your thoughts , better to go for the lower k 458 or higher k Higher price with more options.

    Cheers

    Vlad

I prefer the higher options, miles aren’t that much different. Drive it!

Buy the one you like the most, both are in the 30's mileage wise so not that huge of a diff, buy the car, drive the heck out of it, forget about miles

I just jumped on car sales and saw the 2012 your are talking about. That’s a great spec car. Plus you get the 1 year warranty as the car looks to be at a Ferrari dealership. Can’t seem to see the 2011 model you are talking about online. Keep in mind the 1 year power warranty is worth about $6k. Are they negotiating much on the asking price? I ask because I am looking at possibly moving my 458 in the new year but being a 2013 with only 11,000km I was hoping I could get in the high $300k for it. I was also looking at consigning it to a Ferrari dealer to sell it.

    Hi Big A
Went to look at the qld one today and they were not prepared to move much maybe 5k. I think there is a good possibility you will get the price your wanting. The Black roof was a wrap not factory so I decided to go with the WA one which has a nice spec as well.. Also from Ferrari dealer Ferrari check list all good replaced battery and two rear tyres. I have put a deposit on this 458.

Congratulations mate. That’s a beautiful spec. You will absolutely love the 458. I am still reluctant to get rid of mine but I picked up a Huracan performante a few months back and I don’t have the room to keep both. I already know I will regret selling it once it’s gone.

Thanks I’m looking forward to the 458 arriving however it will be probably about 15 or so days before it arrives on the Gold Coast from WA.
I was tossing up whether to get rid of my gated gallardo

I know the car it used to belong to Alf Barbagallo, nicely specced and very clean, been in stock for a while so very good value. Nice carbon touches. I bought my 13 458 (under 2000 km) from them last year and my 430 before it. Enjoy, they are an awesome vehicle

    Congrats Vlad !

I do hope you received a PPI on paper and one year warranty.

Why ? The 2010 and 2011 tend to get dct problems …

    Let us know.

NOT TRUE! thats a MYTH, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 have all also reported the same DCT problems and usually in low mileage cars..talk to any competent F-Car mechanic or even dealer they laugh at these forum rumors about 2010/2011 being only 2 with the issues, they ALL had the DCT issues

most of the problems hit the early cars. Not to say others didn’t have some issues but not as bad as the 2010-2011. The cool thing about early car is a different exhaust tune which had more pop and crack.

Gonna do my second cart to match the new 570s slider I picked up Friday. The Ferrari is staying forever but the Mclaren amazes me.
