EXACTLY what Maserati has needed for decades! Racing IS Marketing! Happy day for anybody who cares for the marque...
Haven’t seen anything official announcing May 29 as the date. Hope not already book for Motor Valley Fest in Modena https://motorvalley.it/en/motorvalleyfest/
4c must has been Maserati with a 3.0V6 engine... this is lost time for Maserati. Marchionne was obsessed with alfa romeo... Alfa Romeo should have GTV (Giulia Coupe), but then the fusion with PSA appeared...
Well considering the 570S is like 5 years old and getting replaced in a month, that's not very encouraging...
I like this idea. They need to pick a niche and stay there. Does the world need another super car manufacturer around the 200K mark? Maybe a Bora/Merak pairing again not necessarily with those names. Good handling, comfortable and drop dead gorgeous which a Mclaren is not. OK this one was Image Unavailable, Please Login
Expect the MC20 to be in the 180 - 200k range, with carbon fiber construction and 620 hp. 0-60 in the 2 - 2.5 range. That is F8 performance at 100k less.
Old age, medications? Anyway, my comments say nothing about Maserati's current or past racing activities. I simply reiterated the old maxim: Race on Sunday, sell on Monday. Period. No further comments forthcoming.
This may sound insane---but, I believe that the Alfieri is alive and well. It is the new Gran Turismo! Let's wait and see!
Maybe but it was supposed to be in production in 2018 or something like that with a V6. It's 2020 and there's no word on it. Missed opportunity for them.
while the new GranTurismo may have styling cues from the Alfieri (the entire current model range has an Alfieri inspired grill) it will be a completely different car. If you want an Alfieri go buy a Ferrari Roma.
Those have also been very different sorts of cars. Front engine, real passenger room in the back seat for the coupe. A natural progression from the 4200. I'm thinking they will continue to be?
Image Unavailable, Please Login Looks like an MC12 ... let’s see specs...maybe lemans competitor I hope that they will release soon now that the trade show is cancelled.... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Obviously the Beijing show was also cancelled, where Maserati planned to debut the Ghibli hybrid. Alfa supposedly was going to debut a “GTA” version of the Giulia at Geneva. Next major show is NY may see them then.
Lord knows how NYC will handle the virus and by then there may be enough cases for some real panic. Virtual Auto Shows are the future! LOL
Only missed handfup nyc autoshows in my life but not planning on being there this year. I,did see la show in Nov so will have to suffice
