Was it former owner Roger L. or Peter N. who installed that massive rollbar and added the roof antenna to 08377? And is 08377 still equipped with these features today or have they been removed? Marcel Massini
I do not show Chris Amon with a 275 GTB. What road Ferraris did Amon actually own/drive? (Besides 330 GT 2+2 #9213 in Grigio Fumo with leather Rosso VM 3171 and Italian Tourist license plates "EE 02457"?) Marcel Massini
If that is the case and if it is LHD it could be 10207 of Kurt Auer in Germany, it was Rosso Chiaro 20-R-190 with Nero VM 8500 interior. Marcel Massini
Thank you for looking Marcel. Just some unfounded speculation on my part regarding Chris Amon. *Specifically did the factory paint any 275 GTB in Grigio Notte? Dark silver with a hint of green as shown below on a 250 GT cabriolet> Image Unavailable, Please Login
This 1964 275 GTB many years earlier was the Paris show car 06449 wearing Verde Scuro. Image Unavailable, Please Login
notice the green 1964 Paris 275 gtb show car has a Daytona style outside rear view mirror. are these show cars taken directly from the factory assembly line or prepared offsite?
That color photo (post #1812) is from 2010, not from 1964. In Paris 1964 06449 had no exterior rear view mirror at all. Marcel Massini
Your post here. You must have missed this post here. Both, (then) described as silver with blue, RHD 08377 and RHD 08681 were at Salon Prive in 2014. Perhaps that is where a chassis number confusion came from?
