My parts book indicates PN 101999. Searching indicates this is a 70mm x 48mm ID piece. Sounds like the smaller one for the rear muffs. to me.
Seems like asking for a lot of stretch from this little guy. Is this the correct part # and what other applications cross?
    thanks

101999 should be pretty large. I never had a great deal of difficulty installing them. It is the correct #. Where did you get it?

From a Ferrari parts book. I indicates a size of 70mm x 48mm. Does this mean a typical round donut with an OD of 70mm and 48mm ID? Installed they are quite elongated as you know.
Perhaps the dimension is for an oblong shaped piece with 70mm being the length and 48mm width? If so then ought to work.
Do you have one of these on hand to look at?
    Thanks!

That sounds about right. If you look at the picture on Ricambis web site it looks correct.

NAPA has two sizes of the round 'donuts', item nrs 35120 and 35352. I use one of these for my rear silencer as they are a bit smaller than the originals. They have a wide range of alternate types and sizes if you need a better fit.

I just this moment googled rubber exhaust donuts and amazon rubber exhaust donuts, and mercedes exhaust donuts, and found many sizes and varieties, and found dozens of them. Jq.

I just purchased these from Amazon for $7.99 for a pack of 4: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XH233TW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They have the exact same shape and dimensions as 101999 and are a perfect fit for our cars. Note: the material’s cross-section is oval shaped (just like 101999), not round shaped as they appear to be in the pic.

I just mounted them and they look great. I had no problem installing with a screwdriver as leverage - just make sure to use a jack to pick up the slack in the exhaust (they are really heavy). Will report back in terms of longevity.
