Today, I learned that even the humble Saturn Sky has buttresses that are properly centered on the occupants and don’t tower over them.

I have quite a similar spec on my 812 Coupe, but in Rosso Monza. Yellow Calipers, tdf wheels in grigio corsa glossy. painted shields. I think it works well for the GTS too.

So, safety concerns prevented Ferrari from creating a more elegant GTS? Do you genuinely prefer giant, eccentrically placed buttresses?

Ferrari is better than this, especially with the first front-engined convertible GT in decades.

It’s not correct to say large buttresses are required for safety reasons. Virtually all modern convertibles (eg Portofino) have roll over hoops that shoot up if the car flips.

So Ferrari could really have created any size buttress or none at all...

    Yes, Saturn is brilliant!

Buttresses on F are parts of hard roof system, and on Saturn are parts of nothing, just design.

Only reason for the design is to the use 488 roof design for reasons of profit, this car is parts bin designed. Amazed at forum members making excuses for Ferrari.

A top notch canvas hood, glass rear window with flat rear deck would have been stunning.

I believe Rosso corsa. Until now as far as I understand only Rosso Corsa and Grigio GTS cars are demonstrated around dealerships.
