I think the speculative mania has run out of ideas and the "asian" cars were one of the last cars left to hype. Just when you thought you've seen it all. I haven't bought anything on the higher end since 2014 and havent bought a car since early 2016. Going to buy something fun in the bargain bin next month for the paltry sum of under 3k dollars that's been on my list for over two decades. Will post some pics when its done.

Basically anything that has doubled and tripled in value since winter 2013. There are a few that Id love to grab. First gen diablo, Aston Martin v550 (cant even buy one anyway they're all in Europe), Porsche 928, 512tr, etc. I'm happy with what I have and only have room for one more so this will be it for the foreseeable future.

First gen diablo cant stay at the $100-$150k mark for much longer. Someday that’ll be the one everyone kicks themself for not buying. Wish I could justify it but I cant. I keep trying to get my friend’s to buy one.

I think diablo's are gorgeous, but a good friend who I have coffee every weekend got rid of his as he said they drive like a tank. I think it just a manner of supply and demand!

Not even close. My 98 sv is way more driveable than my 512tr and comparable to my f355

I have never driven a Diablo, but I wish. However I drove a murcielago and it was like driving a truck. Slow speed maneuverability due to the AWD system was horrific.

What made the SV nimble? Comparing it to a 355 is pretty interesting, especially considering the SV was pre-audi involvement.

Power comes on like crazy - brakes the same way, feels very light and tossable. Great gear box and amazing sound. Sv is rear wheel drive. Maybe the VTs feel like trucks.

most have not been really driven for years and when they go in for service all sort of stuff is found, most lambo dealers dont even work on them ,i still love them and if i come across a clean one thats been excercised i would be very interested .off all these classic exotics the tr is the best value and they runs so good esecially on a open road:) the drive never gets boring

There's a huge gap between actually selling and ask on those. Every time a private owner nice driver hits the market with 20k or so on it goes for 110-115. Which is a pretty fair price. 140 is too much

Any 94 and later Lambo drives much better than a TR. I owned a 99 Alpine addition in Monterrey Blue, a 99 SV and five 6.0 Diablos. The 6.0
Diablos had some Audi in the interior and were by far the nicest inside.

That color is outstanding Shamile! The only Lambo color that is 4 stage paint I believe. Rare and beautiful!

I don't know if it's 4 stage paint but it's a very rare color called rosso vik. ...named after Vik Colouian ( sorry for the spelling) who sold all the Lamborghinis from his dealerships in the financial crisis and ran with the floor plan money. Lamborghini flagged all the cars and will not offer that color on any car period.

It really is a beautiful deep metallic ruby. Pictures don't do it justice.
But...that car was recently sold to Roy Cats as I'm moving on to an Aventador Roadster...when the Testarossa sells.

Yes Rosso Vik is the only 4 stage that Lamborghini used. I had a 99 SV in the color. Stunning for sure. Can't wait to see the Aventador my friend!
    Merry Christmas!
