It is based on the Portofino. Which was all-new for model year 2018. This is the coupe compliment to the Porto, with an interior that shows the future direction of Ferrari, and the transmission from the SF90. I can't tell if you're trolling.

All I want to know is: What does "2+" mean? Does it have tiny backseats that can fit a booster? And what is the name of the blue on the launch car? That spec is perfect.

Nice rear, horrible front. This grille is a no go, a joke! How can they? Boring side-body, not even close to Portofino's seamless beauty. As I stated earlier, a Corvette looks more and more like a Ferrari these days - and vice-versa. Tight, inconvenient interior (copied from Corvette as well). What this candidate looks like however, can't really tell, but for me, this is NOT a Ferrari. Missing Pininfarina!! 3rd front faux-pas IMHO, after F8 and SF 90 this year... it did really end with the Pista, which was the last beautiful car they built. Can't help myself, sorry...

The more i see it, the more i like it, after the fiasco that was the sf90 this is a very nice proposition design wise. The front grill brings back ferraris from the 50s, and if it looks strange in body colour, i agree with Marcel, it should look very good in chrome. This car needs soft colours (skip red), grigio Ingrid should look amazing!

The SF90 was a disaster for Ferrari, seems that (lessons learned) and this car is a very beautiful car, and I agree with u both, it should look very good in chrome!

What is Ferrari thinking? The front grill looks like a shopping cart from target and the rest of it looks like Ferrari copied Aston Martins homework. I think the company has released let down's lately with the SF90 and now this. What happened to the days of great V12 cars?

I think the grille is an option or feature to showcase the car’s aesthetics. Similar with the black roof two tone choice in the SF90. I’m pretty sure with a normal black grille or carbon fiber one, it would look pretty good. Other than that, I think it’s a stunning car, certainly would take it over the DB11 or even the Continental GT, IMHO. It is stunning in my eyes. Hopefully I’ll have an idea by next year as to if I’m in for it in the market!

The Roma is 3.3" longer than a Portofino, owing to the protruding snout, and 1.4" wider. Exactly the same wheelbase.

You don't seem to understand Ferrari one bit. This is a totally different type of car. This is the type that Ferrari referenced when they said that they would build an "old style GT". Cars like the SF90 are the future of Ferrari though. The Roma is an entry level GT, based on the Portofino.

Styling is subjective, but I find the "cheese grater" grill of the Roma just stupid. I much prefer the space age looks of the SF90.

Maybe the cheese grater would look better in the flesh or in a chrome version ?

Well taste is one thing, but following the trend is another. I fully respect your view and the fact you like "old style" designs. This kind of design though will be limited to models like the Roma. The higher end Ferraris will remain futuristic.
