I believe it does have a carbon bulkhead but the rest is aluminum. The whole point of the car is to offer two levels of performance at a reasonable (relatively speaking) price. There is also a V6 version that will share this platform to so it is not just about this one new model being introduced either.
True, but the next ensemble of Holy Trinity will likely need to rival the performance of F1-based cars like AM Valkyrie and AMG P1.
Image Unavailable, Please Login I am very impressed on how low and centered this engine is positioned in the car. Look how deep it’s tucked in.
The V6 isn’t going to be cheap car either. Speaking of which there have some rumours about a V6 Model with a carbon tub here in the forum (I don’t mean the upcoming Alfa Romeo 8C).
To be honest the side view of the Battista is full of Ferrari 458 DNA Ferrari paid for that design they are lucky Ferrari didn't sue them. The SF90 design was already locked in well before the Battista was shown so they have no legal grounds. they just have a mix of the same base DNA and current areo solutions for that format of design.
The more pictures i see the less i like it. The Pininfarina Battista makes the SF90 look over styled and in-cohesive.
Pininfarina designed the 458, and they still own parts of the rights to the design language of that era. And even so, many people who worked for Pininfarina got employed by Ferrari Design. So of course there will be similar designs when the same people carry the brains behind that architecture.
This Version looks like it was specifically designed for a Futuristic Movie Image Unavailable, Please Login
You mean as slow as a 918. AWD is a hindrance round a track. The new Type R tyres will make a difference though.
Vettel said you can feel the weight when you go over the limit. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByEIrOhgGNK/
This is really a bad angle for this car. It's just plain.. ugly Take off that Ferrari badge and it looks like a cheap 1990 concept car. The rear looks a bit more futuristic but that front is so bland. Don't like the headlights, don't like the bumper, hate the silly nose/front spoiler. It's unfortunate but I really don't like the new designs on recent ferraris.
Yeah But he first said that its well balanced car and you don't feel the weight unless you go over the limit Then you feel it a little bit. Not bad considering how many motors and battery packs reside inside the chassis
Are you referring to the Superveloce J? I am sorry, but no V10 sound better than a V12 in my ears. Then again, that is totally subjective.
