I don't really see it that way completely. They have a reveal date announced and its the buying and reporting industry driving the intrigue as always. Spy shots from every conceivable method and stories about magical performance, looks and weight. Soon we will see posts about scarcity and getting early units with the potential of an upside. I'm always amazed how little Ferrari does to promote their cars. This is going to be one expensive car in a new untested high end segment and they will sell every one of them. And that's because their cars are always so much better to own and drive than the competition as many here will agree. This one is unique because every aspect of the vehicle is or should be new (market segment, chassis, body design, hybrid drive train, interior, etc.). Sure they will tease a bit as it gets closer but its always so little effort compared to mainstream vehicles that have to market heavily to make a buck. I think more credit is due to the orchestra making the music than the lone conductor swinging a chopstick.
General question : Normal ICE have generally about a 20 % reduction to the actual wheels. Given this , will the electric component , do you still use the same logic ? So even if it were 1000 Hp doesn't it mean somewhere between 750 - 800 RWHP ? The guys selling the 488 GTB reflash suggest the 488 GTB is only 534 RWHP . BTW I take those dynos with a pinch of salt.
It's worth noting that 20% is not at all accurate these days, especially for a RWD car. It's likely close to 10 than it is 20.

Sorry wrong photo , https://www.theferrarista.com/forum-ferrari/uploads/monthly_2019_05/IMG_20190514_230116_01.jpg.88203611558433d95159931c2277a5ea.jpg
A conductor is only as good as their orchestra . They are the masters at product launch, creating interest, intrigue and passion. The product never disappoints based over last 10 years. Very impressive company.
Is it just me or does the spoiler lip at the rear seem to be much more pronounced with the latest mule when compared to the older pictures? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wondering the same thing , Could only be the perspective, This mule is a grey car , the fiorano mule is a white car so two differents cars though .
Yes, the rear spoiler looks very tall, especially in the centre. Very evident in this pic: https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/30e037a36b838cdd9c8c65767effc171d083ef9677e8c71def12b7767ace3b33.jpg
Our most reliables sources ( aka Ferr9000 and day355 ) perfectly knows the answer but can't tell more because they would have serious problems with Ferrari insiders which is perfectly understandable. Anyway ferr9000 gave us strong hints there will be at least a targa version of this car.
Roof line seems different as well, lower in the top pic. Might be due to the camo and/or to the different targa body, or maybe it's just a matter of angle.
Talking about lines, I think the roof itself is pretty much upholstered in the older picture. Looking at the continuation of the roofline towards the rear you can notice differences too. That might be also due to the camo but it gives the car quite a different appearance IMO. Image Unavailable, Please Login
One thing I forgot about: Drawing by PPG70 (excellent source about the BB and in the past). The two small shapes near the tail lights reminds me of the rear horizontal vents of the 330 P3/P4. I could not rationalize the diagonal line through the door, and still can't, but it does kind of correspond with the odd-shaped blue panel seen here: Image Unavailable, Please Login
The side window line and rear fender lines don't look to have changed but the roof was definitely padded or puffed up in that older picture, which I commented on at the time. This is is obvious if you compare to the bit of white showing behind the rear window which I believe is the trailing edge of the roof, J50-style.
Best video so far , Don't understand why Ferrari test driver is trying to escape because the car is completely hidden ! Kudos to pista owners to play this game
