This is what it’s like to drive a gated car, that’s why I bought this one in 2014. .... worth it to me. Haha Enjoy
Ok.. who here picked up this 07 from FoSV? Absolutely beautiful spec that I was starting to inquire about when it sold. Asking $179k, 17k miles, original owner. I am beating myself up for not being more aggressive with the dealer. They were super unresponsive and was like pulling teeth to get any info about it and then it sold before I could make an offer. I guess the good news for me is that the market for these seems to have come back down a bit (compared to posts in this thread 2-3 years ago when people were asking 250-300+ crazy numbers), but this was the perfect spec and I know I will not find another like it again. If anyone knows who bought it I would love to know. Just another hopefully useful data point for this thread, as I am kicking myself with regret. That's a cool video. Really sums up the appeal of the gated manual gearshift. Made me want to jump in mine and drive. Unfortunately it's Monday morning, and it's grey.
Nice car. I have the carbon driver zone but not the carbon gearlever top. Is that a separate option, or did it come with the driver zone option in the US?
I believe the carbon shift knob comes with the lower cabin zone option. I have both options, driving zone and lower cabin zone carbon, with the knob in carbon. As I understand it, lower cabin zone includes the carbon console and interior/exterior carbon door sills. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got it, thank you Joe. Lower cabin zone would have been a nice option to have. I have seen very few like that in the UK.
Here’s my car, lower zone console in carbon and I have the carbon interior and exterior door sills. I love the prancing horse in the carbon shift knob, one of the best parts. In the pic above, I’m not sure if that shift knob is as Spec’d or not. I don’t think it’s an option by itself and the car is without the lower cabin zone carbon. Or I could be wrong about the option package that gets the carbon knob Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Interesting point Joe - your shift knob has a silver ring around it and the F430 I posted photos of has a red ring. Definitely different parts. However they both have the shift pattern on the metal gate but that could have been added after the fact too on the other car. Hopefully someone else here might know? Edit: or possibly something changed during the model years? Yours is an 06 I believe and the one I posted is an 07. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Apologies, I'm specifically looking for a coupe.......and not at 270k. Your list is super appreciated, also I drove the car listed at Beverly Hills Ferrari, its perfect in every way for me...minus the convertible. Thanks again.

Thanks Brian. Having good data helps make sure us current owners have high enough agreed value and helps buyers and sellers understand the market. Everyone benefits except the seller who might have successfully price gouged. Thanks for sharing. Not a lot of transactions lately so after a decline for a couple of years (I think 2016 was the peak) we will start to see them start to climb again. Personally as I never plan to sell mine, higher prices just mean higher insurance premiums. Thanks again to you and others who contribute.
Happy to help here. I have owned many fun cars and presently enjoy my 991.2 Carrera S 7 speed manual (mexico blue), but there is nothing like the 430 gated manual. I, like yourself, will be hard pressed to ever part with mine. I paid a premium to get it and plan on the long term hold. Enjoy!
I happen to be the owner of the ‘08 coupe for sale for $270K. I see there are few, if any, coupes for sale with the 6MT and my car is an original owner late model 430 with no stories. I know I’m asking a lot but I’m open to offers and in no rush to sell. The car is still a joy to drive after over 10 years of ownership.
Here's an interesting one, nicely specced 07 spider, on sale at Technoclassica Essen RM auction next month. White on black, 37,000 km, carbon interior. Quite high mileage relatively, but nice condition. Monaco car. Estimate is 120-160k euros. Interesting to know how it does. Good car for someone who actually wants to drive. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/es19/essen/lots/r0127-2007-ferrari-f430-spider/750747
Incidentally, around the same estimate as the Scud at the same auction which has nearly half the miles.
