I know, but I don't drive it as much as I did and I am thinking of an Aston Martin. We will see.

Yes I have the original rims and new tires on them . They come with the tire covers and storage rack as shown in the For Sale section of Ferrari Chat. Pictures are there if you care to look.

All loaded up and ready to head home after an absolutely fabulous weekend at Roebling Road Raceway. I also brought my '97 M3 with the help of a good friend to drive it down. I was amazed at how sensitive the 348 is to tire pressure adjustments. I suspect a lot of the handling reputation is caused by incorrectly set tire pressure. As I found out that as little as a 2lbs adjustment up/down changed the cars dynamics from fantastic and totally predictable to butt puckering scary.

The most favorable results with the BFGoodrich street tires I was using was 30psi front, 32psi rear, these are cold temps

On street tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sport) I found 31 both front and rear worked well. Lately ive been running Hoosiers though, which are a different beast in terms of pressures

Alignment and ride height settings make a BIG difference on these cars! I think I have posted on another thread somewhere around here where I have mine set, but glad to help anyone via PM with a set-up that’s very good for both street and track.

I also happen to have an set of OEM 348 wheels with new lightly used Hoosier R7 tires (only five heat cycles) for sale over in the Ferrari Parts & Collectables for sale forum for any track folks interested!

Weekend project completed- OEM 348 Seats that came with my car before it was prepared to race in the 348 Challenge series back in 1994. Converted them to fun chairs for hanging out in the garage. Better than having them stored in a closet collecting dust! Just used some engineered plywood and a couple of office chair bases, along with some hardware. Makes for a cool addition to the garage, and no permanent changes so I can always put them in another 348.

I hear that a lot but as soon as the car rolls even an inch the steering is quite light. I've never had to sit and crank the wheel sitting stil,l there always room to roll a few inches. And Im in NJ. I think its more technique than anything.
