I stand by my statement. It will never sound as good as the Huracan. That doesnt mean the Testarossa doesnt sound good, but it cant replicate the sound of the new cars.
Ok again get a kreissieg and u will see. Sound of the new cars is all fake anyways Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kreisiegg will still only make the car sound great at full scream , high rpm. Under part throttle, and mid rpm they do not sound good.
Without being stubborn I will have to agree with u: newer cars sound better but they are also more a video game feel to me. I was privileged to be in a tubi f40 recently and it was Amazing; heel and toe, bleep the throttle on ur own etc it’s awesome Now newer cars with the turbo era I’m not sure the sound will be that much more amazing : been in a 12-c and 720s last week and it was great but not like a 458 or huracan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Trust me, I agree with you on the old car front in terms of driving feel and excitement. I far prefer the old. I had a 458 and hated it. I do like the Huracan though.
If you suggest retaining the muffler then my question is regarding the pre-cats. I just had it on the lift and there are all sorts electronics. The muffler guy was worried about removing them. Hence I figured the safest is to just do muffler delete. But the pre-cats seem much easier to remove. But if I remove pre-cats will my dash light up like a tree? Image Unavailable, Please Login
No- u won’t have any lights. I did a delete with a nice tubi pipe and it worked just great. Find a better guy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Exactly. If your exhaust guy doesn't know what O2 sensors are or thermocouples are is several decades behind the modern era. We are talking about a 30 year old car, not a new airplane. You best choice for that car in nearly every way is a good Ferrari shop and not some jack of all trades who is not up to speed on anything new enough to have a catalytic converter.
in the old days u hated the older models tr and countach as we get older we go back to our child hood cars
It must have been steamed heavily or seriously chemically washed. There are a lot of cleaned off areas where the factory applied undercoating.
No this 8-9k I believe. Roselli In SJ told me all those precats tend to kind of melt, for lack of better words, through usage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
possibly, when i received my tr it was that clean and after approx 800 miles later its still clean but yes you never know from a used car all cleaned up and than once you put miles the old leaks will start show ,but it looks to be a very solid clean tr from all the pics
Not true at all. I have seen a lot of high milers with original cats. Besides the finish on the precat heat shielding gets dull very quickly from heat. Those look like they just came out of the box.
Forget oil leaks, what about under coating? That car has none. Both frame rails should be heavily covered with considerable overspray on the suspension and engine. There is zero on that car. They were not built that way.
One of the vendors on this site is a Capristo dealer and is crazy low on prices. I paid 2500 for the stage 2 or 3, can't remember. It looks like a piece of art work and you can see it when you stand behind the car. It looks awesome and sounds better.
Very surprising. Which numbers, torque or horsepower or both? I felt a pretty noticeable seat of the pants hop after I put mine on. Mainly torque which is what we are all after. May be dreaming since it sounded so good it just felt faster, Lol
