If the car is selling at low estimate (say, 240+ fees) that might be an interesting buy.

The 275GTC is an interesting one. Didn't know that only 3 were named as such as opposed to 275GTB/C. According to the Auction catalogue, it is Classiche certified but also appears to have been modified extensively. Perhaps the certification pre-dates mods?

The car is NOT a 275 GTB/C as I'm sure you know which is a different car altogether. The car is no longer Classiche Certified as it has been modified after the Certification.

These 275 GTC cars appear to be as standard steel bodied, 3 Carb, 2 Cam (SOHC) 275 GTB Torque Tube drive shaft cars, which are of course very desirable.

Thank you for the helpful explanation. Apologies - I wasn't clear, but, yes, I was aware this is very different from a 275GTB/C but was curious as only 3 were built. A fascinating, yet far from standard car.
