    I suspect very few - didn't see anyone taking any particular notice of them during the course of the evening. It could just have been down to the excitement of being there and there was a lot happening socially. It was a magnificent dealership dealership/venue and a lot of money has been spent there for sure. It was quite a night.

    I do understand the point of reducing un-sprung weight as there are certainly benefits there but I would agree they weren't anything that special visually really. Also couldn't imagine they will remain looking unblemished for long especially if the car gets driven on country roads. Probably a nice option if the car is going to be more of a show pony or see only light use and, where money is no object of course. Still nice to have options though.

    I'm sure there will be buyers that will do that but I wouldn't be surprised to see these CF wheels significantly discounted at one stage into the future. Much is the case with all the 488 option wheels where you can now buy them in a set of 4 from genuine Ferrari parts even less than what I've seen them offered by wheel vendors here in very recent times. It's just a matter of time.

    Something of a homecoming to, in the sense that the carbon wheels are actually manufactured in Australia.
    Thanks for a nice detailed picture there of that wheel plus those other images from the event to!

    The CF wheels are 18k when ordered with the car, but 40.000+ when ordered afterwards. ( 10k per Wheel). There‘s already a set on eBay for 45k €. So quite many people might order them but get a set of standard wheels for actually driving the car, too.

    I suspect many have no intention to drive the car at all (in the hope for a large ROI) so they can have the CF wheels with no risk.

    Mr Ranjit Sandaramurthy is the ''future'' owner of this pista. So the answer is that obviously the photo was taken by Ferrari but he then choose to post it in Social Media.

    She's ready and on the way to her new home... just missing the yellow wheel cups, it seems. Bianco Avus, just like her sister. All carbon fibre, including the wheels. And yes, she'll be driven. Hard. Like her sister... (PPF technology wasn't as advanced good 5 years ago) ;-)
