I need to add that the “sold” cars on ebay is very misleading. I am currently driving a 2007 Chevy truck with 23k miles that said sold on eBay and it obviously was not, because I walked in and bought two days later. I see that all the time. Fake bidders, fake sales, fake, fake, fake.

I will also add, that a perfectly fresh, no excuses sub 10k mile 355 GTB or especially a GTS is $110k plus. Has to be spotless, no issues, no stickies, no known factory defects not addressed. Those cars are rare and getting rarer. If you have one of those. Hold on to it. Do not take less than $110. And hell, probably $120. If I could afford a car like that to park and drive once a month or so, that would be the car!

I have put 500 miles on my truck in about two months. My goal is to always have the lowest mileage GMT800 in the USA. Need to drive less

My 1998 355 GTS F1 that I am the only owner of is in the upper 1% condition and mileage wise.
I don't think I am going to put it on eBay if I decide to sell.

When I bought the car from Ferrari of Los Gatos I remember the prices on a couple of Dinos and a particular 512BBi back then.....just sayin'.
IMHO 355s are just hitting the 20-25 year-old zone where the best cars will fetch real money.

Absolutely! I will add that the rarest car is the GTS F1. And as much as us gated guys swear by the superiority of the gated cars, the GTS F1 May be in a league of its own. I think that is a special car and would love to own two 355’s - my current car and a matching color combo GTS F1.

Can I convince the wife of this and tell my kids no college

Hell I change my mind selling my car weekly Don’t mean too, but I have never owned a car past 5 years, ever. Most I sell in 2 or less and I have bought and sold 400 plus. Name is not Carnutdallas for nothing

Actually, it's not. The rarest 355 variant is the Serie Fiorano

Too bad they are all spiders.:p I had an opportunity to purchase a new Serie Fiorano, but I had my 360 inbound and passed.
I wonder how many pristine examples are still around.

BTW - Dave did you get my PM that I found the TCU?

Yes Dave, but all series speciale, Fiorano, stradale, etc, etc, are the rarest. And the Fiorano are all spiders, so there is that ;-)

    Jim, a golf GTI is faster than a 355 NOT a 430.

Regarding your turner observations it appears I’m 5K out sheesh!

Check the stats on a new Camry , trust me I cried too.

I’m good with money, I’m even better with business, but I have been known to do stupid **** with my dough and I couldn’t care less if my cars, motorcycles, boats are worth millions of dollars, none of them are forsale.

I like your taste in stuff. It’s similar to mine.

    GTI 0-60 6.2 seconds, 1/4 mile 14.5 at 98.4 mph top speed 125mph (limited I believe)

    Camry 0-60 5.8 seconds, 1/4 mile 14.3 at 99mph top speed 134mph (limited I believe)

    F355 stock is 0-60 4.7 seconds, 1/4 mile 12.8 @ 110.2mph top speed 183mph

My point was a 35k mile car with needs was nearly in your range of sub 10k mile unicorn which to me means a sub 10k mile unicorn might possibly sell for more? :)

I like your taste in stuff too! As far as a GTI being faster than an F355 however I guess I need some further explanation. Even if you meant the Golf R with AWD and 292hp it's still slower than the F355, even 0-60.

Well, the golf R is really light and really fast and I wouldn’t be caught dead in one, but my point is that there are a lot of fast options out there. My C6 is cheaper than dirt but fast as **** and sometimes I prefer it to the 550 ( ok, only when I’m going somewhere where a nice car would get scratched LOL!).
Let’s face it, Ferrari is the best ****ing car brand on the planet and the 355 to be counted among the best of the brand.

The current breed of 8s and 12s are also spectacular.

The rarest of the rare is the Series Fiorano with 6 speed manual. 26 produced. I'll take a Spider any day. When I'm horse back riding I want to be in the open air.

Back in the day I dated plenty of women, but it had nothing to do with owning a Ferrari. Most of the women didn't know the differences between a 308 and a Toyota MR2. And come think of it, back then my daily driver was a Toyota.

Very true! As long as we agree that despite 25 years of tech, turbocharging, direct injection and for the R, awd, the F355 is not slower but in fact punches it square in the face :D

Also I like C6's, in fact sold my 1100hp twin turbo c6 z06 to buy my first F355.
