It’s the Risi Competzioni 458GT that was hit by a prototype at Daytona in 2014, with Matteo Malucelli. Risi chose to purchase another chassis to continue in 2014, so this was a spare we acquired. Here’s the crash: Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
This is the most absolutely awesome thing I've ever seen. As someone who loves racing simulators (I have one but not NEARLY as cool as that) I am so jealous... Don't get me started on that garage! Enjoy in good health.
From what I can see, it's Project Cars 2 (fantastic game, very real) on PC.. Would love to see what wheel set up he has though!
Sorry guys not sure about the simulator details bc had a specialist do it in conjunction with a racing coach, but here are photos of the wheel and petal box. We are retrofitting the chassis now with all of the electronics. My dream .. can you tell us the type of building and size .. and construction tips ..HVAC etc Sent from my moto x4 using Tapatalk
It’s about 9k sq feet. Steal beam, with concrete walls. Closed cell foamed ceiling. Diamond polished concrete floors. Commercial AC units sufficient to host events. The idea for the renovation was to mimic an old horse barn. So several old barn doors and fixtures. Years ago I renovated an old horse barn in the French quarter, so we took cues from that. The flooring, and doors of the office/library are antique wood, doors, hardware and fixtures from the old warfs adjacent to the new one old French Quarter , Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
From these photos you might be able to make out the old doors and hardware Image Unavailable, Please Login
The bar is marble and backlit, with a commercial kitchen behind it. We built the bar on big cast rollers so it’s moveable Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Does the diamond polish need any surface treatment with sealer, etc.? Maintenance? Any cons to the diamond polish?
Wow! I'm speechless. What a playroom! Can you share the story of the Star Wars stuff, especially the land cruiser or whatever it is called, does it drive?
Yes the R2, C3PO and Landspeeder were all made by Lucasfilm contractors for film promotion. The Landspeeder was built with the original molds in Skywalker ranch (the original film shot one was destroyed, in 78 so this was build after). Yes the Landspeeder goes about 20 mph. The R2 was the most operational one made by the contractors who built it for appearances with George Lucas, and the C3PO was built by lucasfilm contractors from the molds in the archives for the actor who currently is employed by Lucasfilm The Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Brought one of the xk120Ms home tonight from the garage. As our home was built at the turn of the century, before cars, there was an of horse barn our back leading to an original carriage way. As it was designed for horse and carriage it’s too narrow for most modern cars, but the older ones look right at home, even though they are about 60 years newer.
