    That's awesome. Props to the owner for using the car exactly what it was designed for. And props to Bugatti for supporting the attempt and Germany for having smooth enough roads to allow that. :) Every city I've lived in the US has poorly maintained roads that going the speed limit is rough.

    At several points in the video the Bugatti owner claims this to be the fastest speed ever achieved on a public road, but the Koenigsegg Regera top speed (284mph) was achieved on a (public) highway in Nevada.

    Cool nonetheless.

    That was a closed course/public road. This was truly open to the public.
