He made it in this morning, enjoyed a slice of Houston, then rigged up and headed out on I10 East to Florida... So, I know the Fchat Prayer List is a busy place, we care about each other. Here's hoping to a safe and enjoyable ride back to home!! I told him about the Denham Springs Hooters, but I bet he flew on by!!
Can someone plot the route, from Houston to Pensacola? He was going to try to make it that far to family last night. But the weather overlay for that area had a lot of activity. Hate that I am so worried!! I doubt he much felt like posting in here, not that we agreed to, or anything. This is just my "angel hovering" mode! Today will be Pensacola to Orlando, how does that look, for weather??
I-10 to I-12 to I-10. Dear gawd, I've done it so many times over the last 40 years. A little over 500 miles with absolutely no redeeming value. I wouldn't do it on a bike. A high speed tank would be better.
We had three drivers in a van and I still remember a long haul, we had stacked boats on trailer. I did try hard to sell the "rent a nice truck, load it and go one way"....Enterprise is up the street. I got the hard bags off this morning, frustrated the lost keys impacted that. Should be news by end of day today!!! That part of I10 pounds on me, too......even in the Caddy!!
Thank you Lord. He is in Ocala fueling up for the home stretch. Said no issues to note, Ducati is well! Good girl, I rarely went past the Post Office on the darn thing!
Don't forget to mail the plate! I sent you a reminder on your phone..... Thanks for the adventure!! Dale,go get those Spiders!!!
Oh there are SO many low volume homogulation specials in modern times, and yet like HD its a very old company so one of the ancient early models may be "the most collectable".. There.s another add running right now, both bikes for $80K package deal. And in the add for the McLaren there's also a Ducati hiding in the offering there, along with his amazing music room!!
