330/ 365GTC, 330 2+2, 275GTS, 400 Superamerica, 250TDF, 250 PF Cab series1, 250 California, 250 Teata Rosa and others did not have round tail lights.
Not many panel gaps in the bodywork. I can't even see panel gaps that reveal how the hood will open. Could it be a permanent closed hood due to its style of bodywork? Anyways, super sleek design. Seems like the classy lines are finally back. What a stunner. Bodywork is flush and sleek, no messy lines that interrupt other lines etc (812 Superfast and Portofino anyone?). Just pure and simple. Let's hope this design philosophy and design language will pass over to mainstream models, and not only to be used for LE-cars and special projects. Simple, elegant and sleek design is just better imo. Timeless.
599 SA Aperta was officially only 80 cars (and more like 120 in reality). And that was nowhere near the speculated $1.7-2.0m of the Monza. Even 200 examples sounds like a little too many for that sort of price tag. It'll be interesting to see what the official line is. -Ed
Anyone else thinking the following three threads should probably be merged? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/812-vs-rumors.569313/ https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/ferrari-monza-sp1-sp2.584913/ https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/812-monza.583998/ -Ed
Different market. The Aperta was intro in the middle of the financial crisis. I think Ferrari had over a 1000 applications for the LaFerrari at $1,.4m and that was 5 years ago. Many many more billionaires and 7-8 figures clients have emerged since then.
all i can say is thank god i own an F40 and the more i see the new stuff the more and more an f50 is a screaming do

Sure thing. It's evidently possible to sell several hundred examples of a car for well over $1.5m. How many examples of the F60 America do you think Ferrari could have sold? -Ed
I like it, interesting and bold direction for Ferrari. Practically useless, but then it is not meant too be anything but a collectors addition. They should charge 2 M euro plus, as whatever level they place it at, they will re sell for a million plus more. Perfect profit generator to meet their financial targets and seemingly we will see more and more niche products. Ferrari know their clients. Excellent.
Probably close to how many Laf they sold. However I am biased against the F60 as I think it was a cheap exercise, esp for the price. And esp when you know a custom SP is around $4m. I have not much love for the F60. Maybe if it was "just" double the price of an F12...
I think there would be a market for 240 cars with what it represent as an open V12 edition with a unique body design...
I have a fetish for cars without winshields so Iove these 2 but didnt mercedes already do this about 10 yrs ago with sterling moss version of slr? Loved that one too.
LOL, was thinking the same. This car was dropped into the nadir of Ferrari's F1 season. Imagine how cool it would have been introducing it following a win at Monza.
Thanks but was guessing more along the lines of a TR shape based on speculation here. I guessed the helmet and the splitter at front (going by what I saw on the IG video posted), I think.
Yeah it reminded me a lot of the Stirling Moss SLR. They even had it silver too to match the silver arrows lol.
I get it in Europe and places you can drive it on the road but what about US customers. 0% chance you can register that for road use here.
