Here she is in the paddock yesterday, proudly dispalying the winner's garland. it was a great (and fair) race between the Breadvan and the E Type. I thought Halusa drove a great first stint too, smooth controlled and quick.

Good to see, yes Lukas is quick and Pirro is as fast as he is friendly and appreciative of history. That video made me itch to drive it again after Louisiana bayou roads in 2000 and Le Mans Classic ten years ago:)

Great driving! There’s not much margin for error in those old bangers.

Everything looks like it's in slow motion with cars that old racing. :)

Such a bizarre car. I've seen it many times, and I never get used to it.

Definitely in the form follows function school of design rather than a classic beauty, but I love it's purposeful look.

Seemingly full contact battle , Nailbiting to watch that from my perspective having decades of Auto body experience.

    Thanks for sharing

I find it amusing that the E-type can keep up with it. How much bigger is the engine in that Etype compared to an original car?

Not bigger, but very highly developed.

I was glued to my screen this weekend as we have forsaken Revival for Members' Meetings now. The racing and the coverage were excellent. I especially enjoyed Kinrara, Glover and Barry Sheene races.

Yes and the other Ferrari victory this weekend was a brilliant one as you no doubt saw. I was talking to Joe Colasacco on the phone today for unrelated reasons and asked:

"By the way how did your race in the 1512 (early sixties F1) go:
    "I won that!
In front of Middelhurst in the Lotus who beat you by one second in Monaco in May?
    --Yes exactly!
-What was the gap at the flag?
    -One second:)"

Here are the highlights of that race, the Glover Trophy. Very tasty battle:)!

It was so good I watched it live and then again on replay. Beating Middlehurst at Goodwood is quite an achievement not matter what you're driving.

Absolutely. However in Monaco the fact that Joe finished so close behind him is amazing because the Lotus has better torque and the peaky V12 is far less efficient in the tight streets.
