I don't recall a stripe treatment like that before. Certainly unique, I like it for the novelty factor. Plus it adds something to as sea of dark grey when combined with the red above the rocker panel to. I might have put a bit more red just on the top of the trunk and going from narrow to wide as it reaches the rear spoiler. The difference in strip width is especially interesting. Certainly more focused than just a straight consistent width strip.
Thank you very much for sharing your 'tailor made' design idea with us!!!

^Interesting. I like it just the way it is and with bottom running stripe I think it would've been overkill with adding another stripe on the trunk. LL's spec, to me, is just enough different, unique and elegant without getting too over-the-top with striping.

Always in the eye of the beholder...

Inspiration comes from this famous old 166MM, a unique one-off car styled by a company called Oblin. I have a thread about our TM experience and a bit about the car. I’ll carry it on when the car arrives early next year.

Certainly a very interesting car for that inspiration though the flat black paint finish was ditched unfortunately by a later owner. To me that was a big part of the appeal for that particular 166MM.
Just as an aside there is a factory flat black F12 with only about a thousand miles for sale. The car is at a Ferrari dealer that can't find a new buyer after many months now...

I think it's actually Argento Nurburgring. GT would get a bit more grey looking in the shadows. This maintains its silver tone the whole way through (from dark to bright lighting)

Obviously Captain Grey's powers of observation have been corrupted by all those GREEN Ferrari models he has unearthed lately here... :D

I watched the pics again, I see some blue hint that makes me think it's not AN...

Ahahahah to be honest I'm completely in the "Make green great again" trend. Brown and Green are two colors increasily growing on me. Must be age...

The brown with tartan cloth on the 70th Anniversary models is very nice!

Beware of greens and browns which are the English clubs' colours. The chester chair is lurking just beneath...
