Personally, I prefer the first video, the one that had been made by Petrolicious. There were good plans, a nice ceremonial for starting the vehicle.
I liked the human side: the man and his machine at the seaside.

For this video the historical and well-treated.

    Wish you a good sale.

No matter who the new owner will be - 0556(0446)MD will always be the Admiral`s car!

I agree! I'm sad to see it's leaving the family, and I hope the new owner understands the legacy he/she has to live up to!

As has already been said - sad to see to go and I hope that the new owner continues to use it in the same vein.

It would, perhaps, be a shame if this car is acquired by an existing multiple owner and becomes just another possession.

What makes it special is that it has been restored, driven and above all loved by the Admiral for so many years, with no other car competing for his affection. The enormous increase in value probably means that any new owner could never claim the epithet 'Goodwrench' and let's pray that he (or she!) drives it frequently and gives the rest of us an opportunity to continue to see it regularly.

Robert, thank you for showing us how to enjoy Ferrari ownership to the full and for being so generous in showing the car and answering the same questions over again with such grace.

Indeed, we distinguish the good conservator as Mr. Phillips from the others.

Since the Ferrari boom in 86 the prices have been outrageously excessive. Refuge value for speculators, which has the slightest drop in the stock market are exaggerating the marketplace of classic and modern automobiles.

As in all excesses, I believe that anti-fraud laws will have to be put in place.

I think we are out of thread.

With all respects to Admiral Robert Phillips and his Mondial.

BryanP, please continue. Your project is very exciting, and I think also Admiral can give precious advice in your restoration.

Thanks for the photos. The one with Dan Gurney and my wife was when he gave us the trophy for "The Car He Wanted To Take Home!"

    Best regards,
