what's left of the right quarter panel.

that race was a ****show. 3 red flags in 20 laps. over half the field taken out in wrecks. some of the most blatant blocking I've ever seen. ridiculous.

if you thought that was an enjoyable race, please never watch racing again.

The last 10 laps took about an hour. What a farce NASCAR has become.

A few of my friends in Bham wanted me to go to that race, but I passed...too hot there this weekend (mid 80s). Now the temps are nice in the 60s...1 day late. I would've been upset with the delays at the end if I went.

    Another NASCAR debacle?

Come now, certainly you must be kidding!

Sounds as though the nonsense started during qualifying when they awarded Jr. Jr. Jr. with pole position.
How melancholy he gets pole in his last appearance at Talledegger. And, Jr. Jr. Jr. has qualified in the
top 10 how many times this year exactly?

7 top 10 starts in 31 races, including starting on the front row for all 4 restrictor plate races.

remember, he drives for Hendrick. he has great equipment :)

[edit: I'm still trying to figger out the stages, points, and "playoffs" (Again, playin' what? I thought this was racing?)......:confused::confused:]

Another "record breaking" race that featured no less than three (3) red flags.

In what other form of racing would this be acceptable? The way they make the cars all run together
in packs like they do at these restrictor plate races certainly contributes to the carnage.

A few years ago, one of you may remember the year, the teams pushed back and some clever
engineers figured out that they tandem drafted instead of one long line, they'd go faster and they'd
    avoid all these calamities.

Then, the heavy hand of NASCAR stepped in and told them, "No more ah' dat dere tandem draftin'"
    and it ended.

Will they be happy when, as at the Sepang Formula 4 race this year when ultimately no cars finish
the race? That certainly seems like where NASCAR is heading.

LOL! I had no idea. That sounds horrible. Is the "talent" in that series that bad for the team bosses and drivers to let something like that happen?

  13. Thank you. :)

The race organizer apologized for the problem, so it wasn't the teams' fault. There were two races back to back which was unique; that happened because of Grojean's run in with the drain grate which compressed the schedule.

No, the result of a couple of legitimate DNFs and cars running out of gas short of the race distance.

But, the effect is the same.

NASCAR can't have someone hogging their lock on debacles don't you know!
